Came here with my dog, they gave him a little mat to sit on. Nice touch. But my main dish was £18 and honestly, the portion was a bit small for that price. Felt a bit short-changed.

The raspberry croissant brioche doughnut was so fresh, you could tell the pastry was made that morning. The fruit filling tasted like real berries, not too sweet. It did get quite crowded at lunch, had to wait a minute for a seat.

As a meat eater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here! The flavours are so delicate and vibrant. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The mushroom bao buns were a real highlight.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Their bread was so good I had to grab a loaf to take home. Nice and relaxed after checking out the hall opposite.

Nice spot by the river, the view is lovely. Had the roast beef dinner, it was pretty good. A bit on the pricey side, but fine for the location.

Stumbled upon this spot wandering around Totnes. The brie and bacon sandwich hit the spot, but the real star was the broccoli and Stilton soup – rich and creamy. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the richness nicely. Friendly service too.

Been coming here for years, their salmon and broccoli quiche is spot on. Had it on the terrace again last Saturday, really hit the spot. Owners are lovely people, always have a quick chat. A proper local lunch.

The scones were still warm from the oven, which was a nice touch. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. A solid spot for a cuppa.

Loved how welcoming they were to our pup! Madeline was so sweet and even brought him a little treat.

Love the spot by the river. Had the Sunday roast last weekend - the beef was so tender and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. A proper cosy pub vibe inside, perfect for a grey day.

The outdoor garden seating is so peaceful, and I love that they use fresh, local greens in their salads. Perfect for a healthy lunch.

Popped in for a quick dinner. The chicken tikka masala was pretty good, and the naan was decent. Good value for a tenner.

The room was a good size and spotless, which was nice. Plenty of space to spread out without feeling cramped. Handy for exploring Sidmouth, too.

Took the kids here for a late lunch. The dedicated play area was a real plus, kept them occupied. My mushroom linguine was solid, good flavour. Menu has decent variety. Service was efficient.

Arrived an hour early, no problem food lovely sea bass was fresh and plenty of it. steak cooked to perfection my husband ordered it medium rare and that is how it came. A lot of places he orders medium rare and it comes well done. Nothing too much trouble with the service. Altogether a very pleasurable experience

Great spot for a grey afternoon. Staff were really friendly, and the harbour view is lovely. Menu had some solid gluten-free and vegan options. Portions are generous, and they're dog-friendly too.

Lovely spot for a quiet dinner. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients felt in my main course. The greens were crisp and the fish tasted clean, not at all heavy. It made for a light yet satisfying meal. The atmosphere was cozy, just right.

Popped in for a coffee. Owners are lovely, you can tell they really care about where their beans come from. The place just feels nice and warm. ☕️

The bacon sandwich was really good, and the hot chocolate was properly chocolatey. Staff were friendly and the place felt comfortable.

Been coming here for years, and the granola with poached fruit and Greek yoghurt is always spot on. It’s the one thing I know I can count on, no matter the season. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the cooked breakfast is always spot on. Big portions, everything cooked just right. It's the one thing I know I can count on, every single time. Keeps me coming back.

Plenty of free parking, which is a huge plus. Just remember to register your car at the counter when you get there—easy to forget!

Great to see so many gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. Makes choosing a meal so much easier.

I'd prebooked and requested a quiet. table with a high chair which we were allocated after a short wait. Just wondered why it hadn't been prepared in advance.Apart from that everything was super. Delicious hot food, friendly effiecient service so HIGHLY recommend

Stopped by for a bite. The team here is genuinely nice, made us feel looked after without being fussy. It was a good vibe.

Flat iron steak was spot on. Cooked just right. Also tried the cod brioche sandwich. Solid choice.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived for our booking and so we had to wait around 15 minutes for our table. There was plenty of variety at the carvery with several meats and lots of vegetables. The food was delicious and the service was friendly.

The carvery's a good deal with the Blue Light Card. The dining area feels spacious and relaxed, which was nice.
