TheForkUserI must confess that I was a bit disappointed, since our experience (in the Steak Stube) differed from the feedback given on Tripadvisor by others.To be more specific:- The amuse bouche was very well presented, but didn't have much taste.- It took quite some time to get the menus and the wine list (we had to ask for the wine list specifically, it would have been nice to get them both at the same time), and we also had to wait to place our order.- We were not offered to taste the wine first, it was just poured for us.- My ribeye steak was very nice, but my friend's Wagyu "Chef suggestion" didn't compare well with other Wagyu steks she has had.- The sauces were served in very small portions, and we had to ask for more. One of them we got a refill of, the other we never did.- Some of the greens served with the meats were very nice.- When we were given our coats back, I held my friend's coat for her to put on. The staff member then just dropped my coat on a chair and walked away.
TheForkUserLovely intimate room in a very stylish hotel. Very good advice about which steak to choose based on our cooking preferences and a matching local wine. Great bread and starters and very generous servings of delicious sides with the steak. The food and service were superb and we had a great evening
