Popped in for a coffee while wandering around. It was really good, a proper strong cup. Nice to see a solid selection of loose leaf teas too, though I stuck with the coffee. Just the right stop for a little break.

Grabbed a takeaway order from here last night. Everything was piping hot and ready right on time. The portions are generous - I had enough for lunch the next day too.

Decided to treat myself. The fish was fresh, cooked just right. It&#39;s on the pricier side for sure, but for the quality you get, I felt it was justified for a one-off splurge.

Got a window table overlooking Porthminster Beach. The view was the best part. Food was decent, but honestly, I was just there for the scenery.

Got the butter chicken for takeaway. Sauce was really flavourful, good amount of chicken in there. Came hot, ready in about 20 mins. Solid option when you can&#39;t be bothered to cook.

The set menu was a great way to try a bit of everything. Portions were small, but I liked that&mdash;didn&#39;t feel overwhelmed. Everything tasted fresh and looked really pretty on the plate.

The local wine selection here is really thoughtful. I had a glass with the grilled sea bass, and the pairing was just right. It let the freshness of the fish shine through.

The lobster Thermidor was my pick. Really rich sauce, and the meat was spot-on. The garlic butter one was good too, but a bit heavy for me. Both were cooked just right though.

Having been searching for proper pub food for a while I&rsquo;ve finally found it. A warm atmosphere and deliciously presented food that tastes better than the photo can make it look. A lovely pint of Guinness and onion rings that warmed my heart. If you&rsquo;re ever near here I suggest you call in. Top Marks from me.. 👌

Nice casual spot with a beach cafe vibe. Dog-friendly, which is a plus. They had a DJ and electric darts on the night we went, good for a relaxed evening out.

The pigeon breast starter was a real surprise - so tender and the sauce had this lovely sweet note. My fillet steak was spot on too. Just a really solid meal.

Just a very pleasant low key place in a fabulous location with a great small plates offering and stupendously well cooked food.  The small plates are not so small so be vcareful not to over order.  Very friendly waitress.

Interesting wine list here, with some bottles from vineyards you don&#39;t see everywhere. I tried a glass of something new - a nice change from the usual suspects.

Came for the small plates. The seared tuna and scallops were good, fresh flavours. But the portions are tiny for the price. Ended up ordering way more than planned to feel satisfied.

Came here with a few mates for a casual catch-up. The vibe is so cosy, exactly what you want for a long chat. We ended up staying for hours just talking, felt like we were in someone&#39;s living room. The staff were lovely and didn&#39;t rush us at all, which was perfect.
