Service was on point. Friendly but not overbearing. Just the right amount of attention. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

The bill for two, with a few drinks and sharing plates, was about 9,000 yen. A couple of the small plates seemed a touch expensive for the portion. But the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were spot-on.

A short walk from Higashi-Hagi Station. That huge tank with live squid and pufferfish is something else. Ordered the pufferfish sashimi right after the chef pulled it out. Texture was really springy, clean taste. A bit pricey, but you&#39;re paying for that freshness.

The fried chicken was surprisingly light and not greasy at all. Appreciate that they use fresh oil.

The staff was so kind. They kept refilling our water glasses without us asking, which was lovely on a warm day. And they didn&#39;t mind at all when I asked to leave off the pickled veggies. Just a nice, thoughtful touch.

Got a window seat on a sunny day. Just sat there with my coffee, watching the waves. The light on the water kept changing. Didn&#39;t even notice when my food arrived. That view was everything.

Been coming here for years. The free parking right out front is a big part of why I keep coming back. Saves you the hassle and cost of the paid lots nearby. Makes a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner so much easier.
