A pleasant riverside walk from the centre. The house special curries were really good. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit feel relaxed.

The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic. A glass of Pedro Ximénez sherry alongside it was the perfect match.

Popped in for a quick bite on Gloucester Road. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. Staff were really friendly, made it a nice lunch.

Came here with a group of friends and the vibe was spot on for catching up. The Virgin Colada was so good we all ordered a second round! Samosa chaat was tasty. Just the right kind of place for a relaxed evening out.

Lovely server, really attentive. Food came out quick. The lamb shank was spot on, fell right off the bone. Nice, relaxed vibe in here.

Stayed here before an early flight. As someone who needs gluten-free options, I really appreciated their knowledge. The dinner was good, and they had a gluten-free ale which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also safe for me. The pub itself is cosy.

Ordered takeaway again last night. The portion size is honestly huge for the price - we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Food's consistently tasty, and it arrives hot.

Booked for 12 and they handled it perfectly. Staff were really friendly, no fuss at all about the nut allergy. Even threw in some honey dough balls on the house. Definitely need to book ahead for a group that size.

Miguel was a gem. He really took the time to explain the menu and his suggestions were spot on. The sunshine bowl was so fresh and colourful. Just a really nice, attentive service that made the evening.

Lovely evening for a birthday. Kasia was a great host, very attentive. The booth seating was comfortable and made it easy to relax.

Staff were great with our group and the wheelchair access. Food arrived quickly, but the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu.

The all-day big breakfast is a solid choice, especially after a bike ride. They even have gluten-free and veggie options, which is handy when you're out with friends.

It was a lovely experience enjoyed by all. Food was very well presented, tables were well apart and food was lovely. Staff were great!

Came back the next day just for those fire pit tables outside. Great spot to chill with a drink.

Grabbed the cauliflower starter and scallop & pork belly. Both came out super quick, perfect for a fast lunch. The mini dessert was a nice little bonus. Good for a quick bite.

The courtyard was the best part. Just a few tables tucked away, felt like a little secret garden. Really peaceful spot to sit and unwind.

Food was solid, service efficient. Place was packed, which explains the slight wait for a table. Good spot for a business lunch near the office.

That air conditioning during the heatwave was everything. Spent hours in the bar just to soak up the cool air, it was a proper refuge. Staff were so on it with the water refills too.

Been coming here for years. Always appreciate how they keep the place feeling open, even when it's packed.

Really liked the vibe here, super cosy. The new server was great, handled everything smoothly. Food was nice but honestly a bit pricey for the portion sizes.

Grilled fish here is always fresh. Had it again last night, skin was crispy and the flesh just flaked apart. A solid choice on their menu.

Been here a few times. The mixed grill platter is huge, easily feeds two. Lamb chops were spot on, juicy and well-seasoned. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Booked a table early after hearing their specials change often. The seasonal veg plate was a standout - simple but with so much flavour. Staff were really helpful explaining the dishes. A couple of the specials were gone by the time we ordered, so glad we got in when we did!

The lamb rogan josh here is noticeably better than the usual curry house fare. It's got a proper depth of flavour, not just heat. The place was buzzing on a Saturday, service was still on point.

Nice dinner with my wife. The steak was cooked a bit past medium-rare, which I noticed right away. Still tasted good though, and the service was spot-on - there when you needed them but never hovering. We had a relaxed time.

Birthday dinner here last week. The staff were really nice, brought out a free drink and a little dessert for the occasion. Food portions were decent, service was quick. Made it a nice evening out.

The wine pairings were really thoughtful. I particularly noticed how the crisp white they served with the starter highlighted the freshness of the herbs in the dish. A lovely touch.

Used a voucher for the Sicilian wine tasting. Mike was a good host, knew his stuff. Wines were nice, and they don't skimp on the food portions either. Solid way to spend an evening.

The curried goat was the highlight. It's rich and flavourful, not overly sweet like some places do it. The seasoning was spot on. A really nice, comforting dish.

They read my note for the birthday order, which was a really nice touch. The food still tasted great even delivered.
