The pasta is made right in front of you, which is pretty cool to watch. I had the tagliatelle and it was fresh, no complaints there. The room itself felt a bit loud though, lots of hard surfaces bouncing sound around. Fine for a quick dinner but I wouldn't linger long. Prices are okay for what you get.

Food and service are great but the guy was standing on the intrance was very arrogant and he assumed that we don't have reservation and asks us to wait aside. We told him that we do have a reservation and he said ooh but your 10 minutes late so i gave your table.

Stopped by for lunch on a quiet afternoon. The Alt beer was really fresh, nice and malty. I had the Senfrostbraten with the cheese and mustard crust — that was a solid choice. Portion was big enough that I didn't need anything else. Prices seemed okay for what you get. Only small thing: the place was a bit chilly inside, but I guess that's part of the old building charm. Would sit near the window next time.

The pizza was solid, but that tiramisu... properly creamy, not too sweet. Place was packed but we still got our food fast. Only wish they had more seating, felt a bit cramped.

Solid steak, good wine list. Place feels modern, not your typical Altstadt tourist trap. No smell sticking to your clothes either. Came for dinner, left full. Prices fair for what you get. Worth it if you're in Düsseldorf for work and want meat.

The bruschetta on the house got me. Warm little place, pasta was decent too. Felt like they actually wanted us there, not just rushing through the order. Maybe not the most refined Italian I've had, but the coziness made up for it.

Huge portions and the food was solid, though a bit pricey for what it is. Loved sitting outside by the river though, perfect for a chill catch-up with friends 🌊

Tiny menu, but honestly everything we ordered hit the mark. That mascarpone and berry dessert though — yeah, that one’s staying in my memory. Place was quiet too, not dead, just calm. Kitchen still running late, which is rare around here. Wouldn’t mind going back just for that dessert again.

Decent breakfast buffet, nothing fancy but solid. Good spread for the money, and the staff left us alone to eat at our own pace. Had a toddler with us, so that was appreciated. Place was a bit busy but we got a table right away. Fine for a quick morning meal.

Came for the food, stayed for the beer. Schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Portions could be bigger for what you pay, honestly. But the quality is there. Had a decent pilsner alongside, went down easy. Place was busy but service kept up fine. If you don't mind spending a bit more, it's a good stop.

Great spot for groups who love beer. Huge selection and the schnitzel was solid. Place gets pretty loud but that's part of the vibe. Service was a bit slow though.

Lovely spot right on the water. The pasta was really good, dessert too. Just the right kind of place to sit and watch the boats go by.

Great spot in the old town. Portions are huge and the veggie options are solid. Only thing is it gets pretty loud inside, but the buzz kinda adds to it. Service was quick too.

The staff used a translation app when my German failed—nice touch. Cheesecake was decent but a bit pricey for the slice.

Nice little spot with a flea-market feel. Service was friendly and the bistro snacks hit the spot. Beer garden's a solid bonus. 🍻

Been here maybe four times now. Food's always solid, especially the schnitzel. Prices are fair for what you get, place has a nice relaxed vibe. Service was a bit slow last visit but nothing crazy. I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area.

The truffle pasta was really good. Cozy little place, staff didn't hover but were friendly. Would come back for that dish alone.

Lovely spot for hanging out with friends, staff were really nice. Food's okay but pretty basic—honestly better for grabbing drinks and sharing snacks than a full meal. 😊

Grabbed a quick bite at the CentrO food court between shopping. Lots of choices, ended up with some decent Asian noodles. Place was packed though, took a while to find a seat. Food came fast once I ordered. Fine for a quick refuel, just don't expect a relaxing lunch.

Stopped by for lunch and the portions were seriously generous. Had the schnitzel, tasted homemade, not like the frozen stuff you get in most places. Owner came over and explained a few dishes, which was nice. Only thing, it got pretty busy and we waited a bit for the bill. But the food made up for it.

The cocktails tasted really fresh, not too sweet. Prices felt fair for what you get. Nice spot to relax.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but well prepared. The vibe is relaxed, which I liked. Just be aware: no credit cards. German bank cards or cash only. I didn't have enough cash on me, so that was a bit of a hassle. Good meal overall, just come prepared.

The cakes here are really rich and creamy, just the way I like them. Cozy little place, very traditional feel. I sat by the window and watched people walk by, didn't want to leave. Maybe a bit busy in the afternoon, but that's fine.

Small barn wedding, 40 guests. Food was solid, service kept things moving. The cake from their partner bakery was the real highlight. Team handled everything without us chasing them. Only thing—it's a barn, so dress accordingly. But yeah, happy with how the day went.

Solid pasta, no complaints. Owner actually came by the table, seemed genuine. Place has a decent buzz without being loud. First time here, definitely not the last. Maybe a bit off the main path but worth finding.

The schnitzel plate was massive for what they charge. I got the pork one and barely finished half, took the rest home. Portion size alone makes it worth coming back. Just wish they had more seating, got a bit cramped around noon.

We stopped by on a busy Saturday and the staff still managed to be super friendly. They even brought water out for our dog without us asking. I had a glass of the house red with the schnitzel—decent pairing, nothing fancy but it worked. Place has a nice buzz to it. Only thing is you might wait a bit for a table.

Been coming here for years now. The schnitzel's still got that proper crunch, not dry at all. Beer comes quick, which I appreciate. Place gets busy but the staff keeps it together. If you want real German food without tourist fuss, this is it.

The carrot cake here is really good, and the oat milk flat white was solid too. Prices are fair for what you get. Seating’s a bit cramped on weekends though, so don’t expect to sprawl out.

Been coming here for a while now, and the vegan pizza keeps me hooked. Quick service, friendly staff, no fuss. Just a solid spot when you don't feel like cooking. Maybe not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Still my go-to for a casual bite.
