The cocktail bar is the standout—that Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini was genuinely good. Restaurant side feels a bit hit or miss, but the bar staff know what they're doing.

First of all the staff were excellent and could not do enough. I was looked after by a tattoo lady and I have hardly ever seen someone work so hard as a waitress. The food was Thai and some dishes had a German influence and some were pure Thai. I had a section of both types and they were both excellent. Both times that I went, the restaurant was full which is a testimony to its excellence.

The food was good, decent portions too. But honestly, the prices felt a bit steep for what you get here in Germany. Guess you pay for the central spot. Fine for a one-off, but I wouldn't make it a regular thing.

very nice service, multili gual staff. We were served by Camilo who made sure we got the order with all the customizations that we asked.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Gluten-free bun actually held up, didn't fall apart halfway through. Burger was solid, tasted like a normal one. They even have GF beer, which is rare. Service was fast enough for a lunch break. No complaints.

The tasting menu was spot on—every course felt intentional and clean. Service stayed chill but sharp. Solid pick for a nice lunch.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere with cozy seating and excellent food options, including vegan choices. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a delightful dining experience.

Tasty food and big portions, no complaints there. Staff spoke English well, which made ordering easy. Handy spot right by the station.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Got the schnitzel and a dark beer—schnitzel was crispy, meat tender, not greasy at all. The beer was fresh, went down easy. Place has that old brewery feel, wooden tables, dim lights. Service was quick even though it was packed. Only downside, pretty loud inside, but you expect that here. Solid spot if you want proper local food without fuss.

A very surprising gastronomic experience. The service is really good, all the staff is very friendly. The food is exceptional, and the quality and flavor are really surprising. The wine selection is very good, and the price is also good for what is offered. The atmosphere is cozy, but in my view, it needs renovation and modernization, the furniture is a little worn already. But in general, it is really worth going to this restaurant.

The sushi was fresh and the portions were generous for the price. The Philadelphia rolls reminded me of the ones back home in Ukraine. Probably the best I've had in Cologne so far.

Tried the tapas platter and honestly the pork dish was the standout. Even my Spanish friend nodded along, which says a lot. Place had a nice buzz, not too loud. Only thing is we waited a bit for the food, but it came fresh. Would go back for that pork alone.

The wine selection at Em Brass is impressive, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend trying the carbonara; it's consistently excellent and a must-have on the menu.

Good hearty food and a Franziskaner saved my wait during the train delay. Nothing fancy, but just right.

Came by without a reservation on a busy night, got a table inside fast. Had the schnitzel, cooked just right, not dry. Presentation looked nice too. Service took a while, but the food made up for it. Fair price for what you get. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The pork knuckle was decent, crispy skin and good mashed potatoes. Took a while to come out, but fine.

Gluten-free options are actually decent here. Staff asked about allergies before I even ordered, which I appreciated. Felt safe eating without worrying.

The pizza was really good—crispy crust, decent toppings. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The pulled pork was actually the highlight—really juicy and smoky. The classic Bochum sausage was fine, just not as exciting. Staff were friendly enough. Place was a bit busy when I stopped by, but nothing crazy. Solid stop if you're in the area and want something quick.

Walked in not knowing what to expect, left genuinely impressed. The owner actually came by our table to check if everything was okay—that personal touch stood out. Food was fresh, nothing fancy, but solid. Service definitely the highlight here. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Came here for a quick lunch and the fresh pasta was really good. Salad was decent too. Service was fast, which I appreciated since I was in a bit of a rush. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Prices are fair for what you get. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Beautiful old place with big timbers and stonework. Charming youthful servers. Delicious meals. Beef cheeks with demi-glace was outstanding!

This hotel restaurant is a pleasant surprise with freshly prepared dishes and high-quality ingredients. It's definitely worth a visit!

Selin took care of us the whole evening, really warm and attentive without hovering. She checked in at the right moments, made sure our water was topped up, and even helped us pick a lighter option from the menu. Felt genuinely looked after, not rushed. Nice to have that kind of service for a change.

Linn explained the menu really well. The southern Vietnamese dishes were tasty, spring rolls and chicken were spot on. Plantain dessert finished it off nicely.

Been coming here for a while now, and the volcano roll still gets me every time. Fish is always fresh, you can tell they don't mess around with quality. Presentation's nice too, not over the top. Place gets busy on weekends, so I usually come early. Consistent, that's why I keep going back.

Came here for dinner and the staff were really friendly. I had the schnitzel and it was solid, though the sauce was a bit heavy for my taste. Indoor seating gets cramped when it's busy, we were basically elbowing the next table. Still, food came out quick and I'd pop in again if I'm in the area.

Great Food, good ambiente, friendly and good service. It is only little bit narrow inside, you can easily participate in the conversation next table if you like 😉 or become witness of smaller incidents.

Stopped by for a quick pizza and it hit the spot. Crust was nice and crispy outside, soft inside. Portion sizes are decent, you won't leave hungry. Price felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, just a solid casual place.
