Sunday lunch today was our second meal here after an excellent prix fixe dinner earlier in the week. Everything from the buffet spread to start with to the main meal and dessert was first-rate, made even more special by the fact that the expected sirloin of beef was replaced by chateaubriand! Served pink at our request it was tender and succulent. Fullmarks to the chef and to Will our genial and professional server.

Very impressed. I only made the booking as i bought a brand new Car and wanted to go for an hour drive. Lets just say i will be visiting again in the very near future. The eating area behind with the sun shining down and the most tasteful food served made it very memorable.

I had a lovely Mother&#39;s Day visit at The Sovereign. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, and the attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at The Castle. The Signature Burger was absolutely amazing, and the staff, especially V, were knowledgeable and friendly.

I was impressed by the quality of the food and the warm hospitality from the staff. Definitely a place I would recommend to friends.

Every time I visit Toby Rotherham, I&#39;m impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The staff really go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.

I was really impressed with the value for money! The meal and drink deal for &pound;10 was a steal, and the chicken burger was tasty and satisfying.

I had the N&#39;duja scrambled eggs for brunch, and they were so delicious that I didn&#39;t need to eat again for the rest of the day! The staff were cheerful and efficient, making the experience even better.

This restaurant offers a great selection of drinks and the service is top-notch. Our servers Kerry and Jazz were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our brunch.

We had a family meal for six there and everyone enjoyed their meal.Staff were friendly and attentive but let us enjoy our meal in peace which we appreciated.Thank you Red Lion. We will come back.

This pub is a hidden gem with a stylish interior and a fantastic breakfast menu for vegetarians. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making it a perfect spot for remote work or a casual meal.

Use Toby Cavery quite regularly.  We find it reasonably priced, the food is always good and the staff are friendly and helpful.  Would recommend this restaurant, but make sure you book as it gets really busy.

Staff very friendly from the moment we went into the bar area. Service great, very informative, just a lovely relaxed vibe. Restaurant staff all very friendly and attentive. Menu excellent, served in good time, tasty well presented. Will definitely recommend and we will go back again, soon. Good experience.

We had a brilliant time at the bottomless brunch! The cocktails were creative and the food was spot on. The service from Megan and Ash was friendly and efficient, making it a delightful experience.

Excellent pub, obviously loved by the locals who booked it out - so make sure you have a reservation. 6.30 seems to be when they all flock in. Our table was for 7pm so we ended up having a bit of a wait and to make an alternative choice for mains as ours was sold out. Well kept cellar - excellent beers and plenty of cocktails available. Will return when next in York

Had a lovely lunch with family, we asked to sit in a quieter area hence we&#39;re away from view of staff in a raised area - despite us being out of view the staff were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely eat at Fire Lake again

Great food, and staff, big mention to Adrian and John both of whom were very helpful and attentive. All meals were beautifully presented and great quality. Well worth a visit.

Every visit to Miller and Carter has been a great experience. The service from Fifi and the quality of the wagyu steak cooked by TC were exceptional, making it a place I look forward to returning to.
