Quick service, even when it's busy. Grabbed a table easily after the refurb. Food was good, a solid quick bite. Prices are fair. 👍

The fish fillet was huge, a proper portion. Chips were hot and fresh, not greasy at all. Exactly what you want from a classic fish and chips spot.

The daily special is such good value. Portions are generous, which is always nice. I had a very comfortable meal here, the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A relaxed spot for a midweek dinner.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza's always spot on. That thin, crispy base is exactly what keeps me coming back. You choose your own toppings, and they fire it up fresh. It's just consistently good.

Always get a friendly welcome here. Asked for extra jalapeños on my burger last night and they were on it straight away. Makes a difference when a place remembers the little things.

A decent spot for a pint, and they're genuinely welcoming to dogs. Our terrier got a bowl of water without asking. The ale was pretty good, too. Just a bit crowded inside on a Sunday afternoon.

A cosy local with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed evening. The seats by the window were particularly comfortable. Prices felt fair for the area.

Great spot for a quick bite in the sun. The beer garden is perfect for it. Staff were on it too—brought my dog a bowl of water with ice without me even asking. Nice touch. Got my food fast, which is what I needed.

Popped in with my son to catch the match. The place was packed, but the vibe was really warm and welcoming. Staff were on it, got our drinks sorted quickly. A proper local spot.

Been coming here for years. Love the quiet, traditional feel - it's a nice escape from the busy high street.

Friendly staff and good coffee. Appreciate the dog-friendly policy - easy to meet a friend after a walk around the castle. My dog certainly enjoyed the sausage. Convenient spot for a quick catch-up.

The host was friendly and explained the dishes as they came. Food was pretty good, though the combination dish could have been a bit warmer.

Been coming here for years. The baked potato with tuna mayo, beans and cheese is my go-to. It’s a massive plate, comes with a proper salad, and you won’t leave hungry. Hard to beat for the price around here.

Cosy family-run spot, the outdoor seating was lovely. Had a nice slice of cake with my coffee.

Just popped in for a coffee and was really impressed by how clean everything was. The whole place felt fresh and cozy, like it had just been decorated. A nice spot to relax.

Been coming here for a while, the fish and chips are always solid. The curry sauce is the real star though, so rich and flavourful. Portions are generous for the price.

Been coming here for years, and their classic burger and fries never disappoint. The fries are always crispy, and you get a decent portion. It’s just a solid, reliable meal.

The menu has a great variety, which I really appreciate. Lots of options for vegetarians and vegans. I tried the Sunday roast and the vegetables were incredibly fresh. The portion was generous, though the gravy was a little salty for my taste.

Been coming here for years, love the old-school diner vibe. Had the all-day breakfast, solid as always. Their soda on tap in those paper cups is a nice touch - reminds me of the classic diners back in the day. Just wish they had a few more interesting soft drink options to go with the food.

Nice spot for a casual bite with mates. The generous portions were a plus, and they have a decent house red that went down well.

The mango salad is a lifesaver on a hot day. Their wine list has a decent rosé that pairs nicely with it.

Didn't book, but the wait was short. The vibe was really fun and lively. Food was spot on - that grilled octopus starter was a highlight, perfectly tender. Didn't feel expensive at all.

The festive menu was spot on. Really enjoyed the Christmas Eve lunch, the food was delicious and the service was friendly.

Been a few times now. Always solid. The street food is fresh, packed with flavour. A good change from the usual curry house.

The sharing platter is a solid choice. The meat was really tender, cooked just right. The baklava at the end was the best part, not too sweet. Just a shame the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Proper local pub. Had a couple of their real ales, the selection is solid. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a quiet pint. Staff were friendly without being over the top.
