Generous portions, we always have leftovers. The cheese and onion naan is a standout. Good for a filling meal, though the space can get a bit crowded at peak times.

Love the vibe in here - the dark wood and cosy corners make it feel like a proper old pub. Came in for a quiet pint on a Tuesday afternoon and it was just the spot. Could happily sit for hours.

The bread basket was a standout, easily the best I've found locally. Worth the visit for that alone.

Nice local pub, recently refurbished so feels fresh. Good selection of beers and lagers, all fairly priced. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Stopped in for a quick pint after work, it's conveniently located. Did the job.

Been coming here for years, always get the Sunday roast. The pork is consistently spot on, and that crackling is just right every time. The sticky toffee pudding is my go-to finish. It's the reliability that keeps me coming back.

The staff here are so helpful. I ordered the wrong thing by mistake, and when I mentioned it, they just brought out what I actually wanted, no extra charge or hassle. Really nice of them.

Had a lovely lunch with family, we asked to sit in a quieter area hence we're away from view of staff in a raised area - despite us being out of view the staff were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely eat at Fire Lake again

The drinks are great, but I was really impressed by the bar snacks. The chorizo and cheddar doughballs were a decent size for sharing and tasted proper. Good value for what you get.

Been coming here for years, the Sunday roast is always reliable. The beef is sliced thick, just how I like it. Gravy’s spot on.

The Kyoto Cluck-Cluck bao was the star for me. The steamed bun was so soft and fluffy, and the chicken inside was just the right kind of juicy. Really enjoyed the whole vibe of the place while eating it.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, which really made the evening. They checked in just the right amount. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly, with lovely fresh, crisp greens on the side. A very pleasant spot for a relaxed dinner.

Came by for a drink. The Old Fashioned was spot on, one of the best I've had. Strawberry daiquiri was good too. Just a solid place for a cocktail.

The pizza was really fresh, with a lovely thin crust and quality ingredients. Just what I was looking for.

Been here a few times for lunch. The set menu is decent, good sized portions. Flavours are solid, nothing fancy. They do a nice range of drinks too. Service is quick, which is what you want when you're on a break.

Georgia was great. Super quick with the drinks, checked on us just enough. Made the quick lunch feel easy. 👍

Popped in for a quiet pint after work. The atmosphere is just right for that - never feels too loud or empty. It's a proper Leeds pub, you can see why it's been around so long. The bitter was spot on, served at the perfect temperature.

The samosa sandwich was huge and really hit the spot. Can't argue with the price either.

Popped in for a drink on a Tuesday and got roped into the pub quiz. The staff were so welcoming about it, even found us a quieter table in the corner to join in. Made for a really nice, relaxed evening.

Grabbed lunch here with a few mates. The lunch menu is a solid deal for this part of town. Food was tasty, we all left happy and not broke. Good spot for a casual catch-up.

The mixed grill platter is huge, easily feeds two. The lamb chops are the standout, perfectly charred and juicy.

The portions here are really generous for the price. I had the lunch special and it was a nice, filling meal. The food tasted fresh and it felt like good value. A comfortable spot for a quiet lunch.

The fish here is noticeably better quality than other places I've tried. Fresh, not mushy at all. Got my salmon poke bowl in under 5 minutes, which is perfect for a quick lunch. Portion was decent for the price.

I really appreciate the focus on local crafts and the fresh ingredients used in their small plates. The atmosphere is lovely for a quiet lunch.

Stumbled upon this spot. The homemade lasagna was really good, rich and cheesy. Nice selection of Italian lagers on tap too. Staff were friendly, got to chat with the owner for a bit.

The space is really warm and inviting, a nice change from the usual cramped spots.

Great food, and staff, big mention to Adrian and John both of whom were very helpful and attentive. All meals were beautifully presented and great quality. Well worth a visit.

The Zinger sandwich is my new favourite. The chicken was so crispy on the outside and stayed really juicy inside. A server saw me looking at the menu and suggested it – glad I listened!
