A lovely solo dinner. The staff were super friendly and their wine list had some interesting local options to explore.

Food was solid, and it's nice to be just outside the tourist zone. Felt like a proper local spot. The vibe was relaxed, not rushed. A good find for a casual dinner.

The bottomless brunch was solid. Jazmin was a star, really knew her stuff with the cocktails and kept the refills coming right on time for the full two hours. Made the whole thing a breeze.

Loved the interior design here! The food was fantastic, and the staff were so kind. A great first impression of York.

Perfect for a quick bite. The truffle gnocchi was the standout, really tasty. Drinks were good too. Service was quick, got me in and out fast. Just what I needed.

The chorizo croquettes were tasty, and the three-course set menu is a good deal. The space itself is really bright and airy.

The full English breakfast was a decent portion for the price. Two eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, and toast. Filled me up for the whole morning. The waffles looked good too, maybe next time.

The food was pretty good, the service was decent too. A solid spot for a simple meal. The pasta was fresh and nicely done, though the portion was a bit on the smaller side for the price.

The lunch tapas deal is a steal. Grabbed a few plates with a friend, everything tasted fresh and the portions were decent. Cocktails were a nice touch. Solid spot for a casual bite.

The Gobi Manchurian was a standout. Paired it with a crisp lager, which cut through the richness nicely.

Came with my dad, we both got the fish and chips. The portion was huge! The fish was cooked just right, and the chips were really good – crispy outside, fluffy inside. The staff were friendly and quick. A solid meal.

The food here is solid. I keep coming back for their grilled chicken plate, it's always juicy and the seasoning is spot on. Prices are fair for what you get. Just a reliable neighbourhood spot.

Decent food at a fair price. The staff are really friendly. Had a simple lunch here, nothing fancy but it hit the spot. The place was a bit warm inside, but it was fine.

Been coming here for years, and the momos are consistently spot on. Juicy filling, perfect wrapper. It's the one thing I always order, never disappoints. That's why I keep coming back.

Decent value for a set lunch near the station. Had the king prawns and the sizzling lamb guvec. Everything came out quickly, which was handy. The toilets were clean, which is always a plus. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local spot, the menu's huge. Food is always solid, nothing fancy but you get what you pay for. Staff know the regulars.

Good portions, not just salad on the side. The veggie options are clearly marked which helps. A solid choice over the chains in the Town Centre.

A get together with a friend, lovely Sunday lunch. Pub very busy. We booked our table which I would recommend. Our waitress was great, very attentive. The manager looked stressed! When extra tables had to be sorted out. Food very nice, hot and plentiful. I’d recommend Toby’s but Sunday is incredibly busy not that made our meal any less pleasant. Well with a visit.

Been coming here for years. Their homemade kombucha is the real deal, especially the rhubarb one. Not too sweet, just right. It's the main reason I stop by.

Rachel was so attentive at brunch, our glasses were never empty. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in my avocado toast, you could tell it was just made. A lovely spot for a relaxed weekend meal.

As a vegan, it's nice to find a place that offers a proper dessert option. The one I had was pretty good. The staff were very helpful in checking everything for me.

Been coming here for years, and the gluten-free options are consistently good. Never had any issues with cross-contamination, which is a big deal for me. The kitchen clearly knows what they're doing.

Been coming here for years. The owners are always so kind, and they even sent over a dessert on the house.

Food was spot on and came out super quick, which was perfect for our catch-up. The staff were lovely too.

The beef in the Sunday roast was so tender. Really appreciated how fresh the vegetables tasted alongside it, not overcooked at all. Managed to get a table as a walk-in, which was a nice surprise.

Staff were really friendly. Food came out fast after we ordered. Had the fish and chips, crispy batter and the chips were proper chunky. Good spot for a quick bite.

Stopped by for a pizza and caught the live band Odall. My chef husband reckons their pizza beats his own, which says something. The band was really good, made the whole evening.

First time trying Pakistani food and it was a pleasant surprise. The flavours were really well-balanced, not too oily or overwhelmingly spicy like I'd feared. Just a nice, straightforward meal.

The seafood and risotto are so good. Perfect for sharing with friends, we were all fighting over the last bite!

The kitchen's consistency is impressive even when they're slammed. My burger arrived piping hot, the patty still juicy. That's what matters most to me.
