Booked ahead for a Friday. Good call, place was packed. Had the lamb shoulder. Really tender, fell off the bone. Solid.

Stumbled upon this place in York. The soba tea was a fun surprise – it actually tasted like popcorn! The cheesecakes were lovely and light too. Staff were really helpful with the huge tea menu, took their time explaining things.

The paratha is huge for the price, honestly couldn't finish it! 😅 A solid spot for a proper desi breakfast.

We spent the weekend in York and ate twice at the Malmaison bar and grill. Both occasions were perfect, great customer service and great food, just what we wanted

Found this place by chance, tucked away in Bradford. It's got a really fun, buzzy atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxed evening out. The staff were lovely and made sure we were comfortable.

Came for a quiet catch-up on a Tuesday afternoon. The space is so clean and bright, perfect for a long chat with a friend. Heard it gets a proper buzz on weekends though, might have to come back for that vibe!

Booked ahead and glad we did - it was packed! Service was quick though, never felt rushed even when busy.

Been getting their Italian sub for years. It's massive, stuffed with fresh cold cuts and crisp veggies. The bread holds up, never soggy. A solid, filling lunch that doesn't break the bank.

Been coming here for years, and the owner's passion for the place is a big reason why. He always has a minute to chat about the history or the dishes. That personal touch keeps me coming back.

The grilled bass was the star. Staff were really helpful, Adrian and Layla sorted extra chili for us.

The portions look smaller than they are. I was worried I'd need a snack later, but the flavours are so rich and well-balanced, I was actually full. Good value for the price point.

The nut-based blueberry cheesecake was a nice surprise. Really rich and creamy. Got it to go during a quick lunch break, perfect for a sweet treat.

Lovely family dinner here. The owner greeted us so warmly when we arrived, which was a really nice touch. Food was fresh and tasty, service was helpful throughout. Just a solid, pleasant evening out.

The unlimited breakfast is a solid deal. The staff were really nice about us coming in near closing, and the house bloody mary was a good kickstart.

Been here a few times now. Food's always decent, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Service is quick, which I appreciate. They often have some good deals on, so keeps it affordable. Solid choice for a casual bite.

The sweet and sour pork was really crispy, and the sauce was spot on. Perfect for sharing with a few mates.

Mixed grill was the star. The gammon in particular was spot on, really good quality and cooked just right. A very satisfying plate.

Been coming here for years for the full English. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back. The bacon is always cooked just right, not too greasy. You know exactly what you're getting, which is rare these days.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my lunch. The sandwiches are fresh and the fillings are generous. A very pleasant spot for a quiet bite.

Service was top-notch, they really took my nut allergy seriously. Food was fresh and came out at a good pace. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the main.

Nice spot. Food tastes like the real deal in Thailand. Could tell they put effort into the cooking. Pad Thai was spot on.

Lovely spot by the river for lunch. The light in there is just right, not too bright. Food was tasty and portions were decent. A really pleasant, relaxed vibe.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The grilled octopus was spot on, and the staff suggested a lovely local white that paired beautifully with it. A bit on the pricey side for lunch, but the relaxed vibe made it worthwhile.

Lovely food, but service was a bit slow last time. We were catching up with friends and it took a while to get our mains. Still, the atmosphere is perfect for a group chat.

Been coming here for years, and the burger is always spot on. Juicy patty, perfect bun, never disappoints. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.
