Service was spot on. Matthew and the team were really friendly and knew the menu inside out. They handled my dietary needs without any fuss.

Interesting menu, lots of tempting choices. I tried a few desserts, the chocolate torte was massive. Ended up taking half of it home, which was a nice bonus. Portions are generous.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They remembered our names from the reservation, which was a nice touch. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty and presented well. Our server was lovely. We had the pad Thai and it was fab

Keren and Wael were so lovely. They remembered our order from last time and chatted a bit without being overbearing. Just the right kind of service that makes you feel looked after.

Really liked the vegan chicken parm here - the texture was spot on! Nice to see a place that's dog-friendly too. Cocktails looked good, though I stuck with the food. A solid spot for a casual bite.

Been coming here for years. The curry’s always spot on, really flavourful and well-spiced. A proper local spot, away from the busy streets.

As always just perfect, the food the service and the general experience. This is why we keep coming back.Michelle Padgett

Came here with a few mates last Friday. The vibe is just right for a catch-up, really cosy and relaxed. We shared the truffle pasta and a couple of starters. Service was super friendly, no rush at all. Perfect for a chilled evening out.

Been coming here for years now. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. The grilled octopus starter is always cooked just right, never chewy. You can rely on it.

Been coming here for years, and their gluten-free roast is always spot on. It's the one place I don't have to worry about.

Just stumbled upon this place in Leeds. The carbonara was the highlight for me - the sauce was silky and rich, but not heavy at all. Really enjoyed that subtle flavour.

The team was so lovely - they opened up on their day off just for our group. Made sure everyone's order was spot on. Really appreciated that.

Still think about their falafel and hummus sandwich from my old office days. Perfectly crispy, creamy, and fresh. Staff were always lovely. Just a shame I don't work in the area anymore.

Love this spot for breakfast. The menu has a huge variety, which is nice when you want something different. Found a cosy corner table by the window, perfect for a quiet morning. Service was friendly and unhurried, made the whole thing very easy.

The steak at £20 was so tender it just melted. We've already booked for Christmas dinner, which says it all really. Can't wait to be back in that lovely, warm atmosphere.

Lovely spot for a quick bite. The staff are super friendly, which makes a difference. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor has a nice, simple charm. A comfortable place to just sit for a bit.

The wine list here is surprisingly deep for a small place. The sommelier suggested a glass of something local I’d never heard of, and it was a nice little find. The short menu option is handy, too.

Been coming here for years, and the Adana kebab is always spot on. That's why I keep coming back.

The 6-dish tapas deal is solid value. The meatballs were the highlight, very flavourful. Service was efficient, got us in and out for a business lunch. Good option near the office.

Jason and Maddie were brilliant. They really knew the menu inside out and gave us some solid tips for exploring York.

Nice spot on the main street. Scott, our server, was really friendly and made the evening pleasant. The food was decent, though the pasta dish was a bit on the salty side for my taste. A solid choice for a relaxed dinner.

The homemade beef burger is still a solid choice. I really appreciate that the patty tastes fresh and isn't overly greasy.

The North Riding Brewery ales on handpump were a great find. My pint was spot on and the price felt right for what you get.
