The cookie dough dessert was the star for me. It had that perfect, slightly underbaked texture and just the right amount of chocolate chunks. The steak was good, cooked exactly as I asked.

Popped in for a drink, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked too good to resist. Ended up getting the fish finger sandwich and the mac and cheese. The sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot. Mac and cheese was decent, maybe a bit too rich for me.

Stumbled upon this pub and came back three days straight. The ploughman's is huge, easily enough for two. Good value for the portion.

Been coming here for years, and it's still my go-to for a quiet coffee. Love that they keep the live music calendar fresh – always something new to check out. It's just a reliable spot.

Food's clearly fresh and made to order. Had to wait a bit, but the portion was generous and tasted good. No complaints from me.

Good spot for a bite in town. Prices are fair and you get a decent plate of food.

Decent pub with a traditional vibe, quite spacious. Had a couple of drinks here before heading out. The atmosphere was pretty good for that. A bit on the pricey side for the area, but fine.

Came for the sizzling skillet - the meat and veg were so generous and cooked just right. Really sets this place apart from other pubs in the area. A proper, hearty feed.

A really nice spot for a catch-up with friends. I'm not vegetarian, but everything here was so flavourful and fresh. The vibe was relaxed, perfect for a long chat. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud when it filled up!

Menu's got loads to choose from. Tried the chocolate lava cake for dessert. It was the right call. Quick service, got my order fast. Good spot for a quick bite.

The family room was spacious and spotless, perfect for our needs. Staff were polite and efficient. Good value for the location.

The staff were so polite and attentive. They noticed I was checking the menu for vegetarian options and patiently explained the ingredients in a few dishes. Really appreciated that extra care. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

First time coming to the dining room for afternoon tea. Staff was very welcoming and food was amazing. I would recommend this place.

The mixed grill was solid, but those lamb ribs really stole the show. So juicy, with a proper smoky char. Could have been a bit hotter when they got to the table, but the flavour was spot on.

The lamb shank was so tender it fell off the bone. Gravy had a deep, savoury flavour that paired perfectly with the mash. Could have done with a touch more seasoning, but still a solid dish.

The pizza was fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The dough had a nice texture too. A good, simple option for a quick lunch.

The DJ was really nice about our song choices. It got the whole place moving. Perfect vibe for a birthday dance, honestly.

We had been to the windhover before but its got even betterwarm welcome has we entered the door we was seated straight away by the window as requested staff was very good & cheerful meals was exerlent nicely presented & hot sweet also just to say have no doubt about returning great value thank you for a great Anniversary dinner

Been coming here for years. The hand towel and chocolate mint at the end are a small thing, but they've always done it. That's what keeps me coming back.

Vegan options are solid here. Had the dairy-free cheese pizza and plant-based cheesecake. Both were decent, no complaints. Made it straightforward for a business lunch with a colleague who has dietary restrictions.

Been ordering from here for 15+ years. The consistency is the main draw. Pizza always arrives hot, toppings are fresh. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. A solid, dependable option for a weeknight dinner.

Ellie was great. Kept our glasses full the whole time. Made the bottomless brunch feel easy.

Bottomless brunch was solid. The spaghetti bolognese was a nice surprise, not your usual brunch fare. Drinks came quick, too.

The lamb shawarma wrap was the star for me – the meat was so tender and the garlic sauce had just the right kick. A really chill spot to hang out with friends.

Lovely little pub, really welcoming for dogs. The staff were so nice to our pup, gave him a water bowl and a treat. Made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Zekiye was really attentive, remembered it was a special occasion without us making a big deal of it. Made the night.

Grabbed takeaway for our group of seven. The Railway curry was a real standout - rich and flavourful. Everyone seemed happy with their choices.

Tony was really on it - sorted out a pizza mix-up straight away and got a fresh one out. No fuss, no extra charge.
