Cosy little spot tucked inside the old market hall. Perfect for a rainy day like today. Had the fish and chips, decent portion and the chips were proper crispy. Bit pricey for what it is, but the vibe is nice.

Staff were super friendly, made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in. Just a really nice, warm welcome that set a good mood for the meal.

Nice spot for a quiet catch-up. The atmosphere is relaxed and they don't rush you, which was lovely.

The cheesy chips were great, and the honeycomb tiffin slice was a treat. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the whole meal.

The beef goulash was spot on, really hit the spot on a cold evening. That herby dumpling was a great touch. Found a local red that paired beautifully with the richness of the stew. Staff were lovely, made you feel right at home.

Spotted a good coffee machine, and the in-house baking was a nice surprise. The chocolate brownie was just right.

A dog-friendly spot with good coffee and free WiFi. Staff were really welcoming. Panini looked great, tasted fine. Not a bad place to hang out with the pup for a bit.

Afternoon tea. Scones were light, especially the cheese ones. Sandwiches were homemade. Cakes looked lovely. Presentation was spot on.

A lovely little place. Monica and Tony were so welcoming, they really made us feel at home. The room was very comfortable, especially the armchair by the window – perfect for a quiet read. A real find in Helmsley.

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate how they make you feel welcome without being overbearing. The food is always fresh and tasty, but it's the relaxed, comfortable service that keeps me coming back.

Nice little spot right on the seafront. Great for grabbing a coffee with a mate and watching the boats.

Friendly owners, welcoming vibe. Had the steak frites for a business lunch. Steak was cooked as requested, decent portion. Service was prompt, which is key for a midday meeting. Good spot for a reliable meal near the office.

A decent spot for cyclists, plenty of space to park the bikes. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good. Service was friendly, though the coffee was a bit weak for my taste.

A lovely little spot. Their vegan cakes are a treat – the chocolate one was so moist. My oat milk flat white was just right. It’s tiny, but that somehow adds to the charm.

Nice little spot, the coffee was really good. I had an oat milk flat white and it was spot on. The vibe is cool and colourful, but honestly, I was a bit surprised by the price for the size of the cup. Felt a little small for what you pay.

Decent coffee, nice little spot right on the beach. Had a couple of light snacks to go with it. Prices are fair for the location. Nothing mind-blowing, but a solid choice for a quick stop.

The vegan bacon was a nice touch, they actually went and got some when they were out. Portions are decent for the price, I left feeling full. Good to see a place that caters to different diets without charging a fortune.

Lovely quirky little spot. The staff are so friendly and helpful, really makes you feel welcome. Had a flat white and a slice of their lemon drizzle cake - both were spot on. A nice place to just sit and relax for a bit.

The big breakfast is a proper feed for the price. Two eggs, bacon, sausage, the works. Really hits the spot. Portions are generous, you definitely get what you pay for.

Claire the barista is so nice. She remembered my usual order and brought my flat white over. That little thing just makes the morning better.

Grabbed a breakfast bun and hot chocolate after a long walk. Perfect quick bite. Bun was fresh and warm, hot chocolate hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly, just what you need.

Good range of food and drinks. The paninis are solid, and the seafood platter is worth ordering.

Solid spot for a coffee meeting. Their Americano is reliably good, not too bitter. Appreciated that they topped up my hot water without fuss. The latte my colleague had looked well-made too. A simple, no-nonsense place that gets the basics right.

Decent fish and chips for the seafront. The haddock portion was huge, and the batter was properly crispy. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the view, I guess.

The outdoor seating is really nice here. It's tucked away from the main street, so you get some peace. Perfect spot to just sit with a coffee and read for a bit. The chairs are comfy, too.

Lovely, thoughtful decor. Fresh flowers on the tables were a nice touch. Everything was spotless, even the loos were super clean and modern. It just felt like a nice place to sit down for a meal.

Been coming here for years, and their waffles are always spot on. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, just the way I like them. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.
