Small spot on the nicest street in town. Menu's a bit different from the usual brasserie stuff, which I liked. Portions could be bigger for the price though.

Food's always solid here and prices are fair. Place was pretty quiet when I stopped by, but honestly that just made it easier to grab a quick bite and get out.

Stopped here after Efteling with the kids. Food was decent and filled us up, but honestly the price was the best part. For this area, you won't find cheaper.

Super nice atmosphere! The location is suitable (center of Waalwijk), friendly service, beautiful and warm atmosphere, incredibly delicious and big portions. Recommend the place plus will visit again.

The scampi with potato slices was the standout — properly cooked, not rubbery at all. Easy to find, and the staff handled our English without any hassle.

The garden terrace is lovely, though we waited a while for a table on a busy Saturday. The seafood pizza was worth it though—good crust, plenty of fresh shrimp. I had a nice glass of white wine with it, which paired well. Service was friendly but a bit stretched. Would come back for the terrace alone.

Been coming here for a while now. Lunch menu still around €10 and honestly that’s hard to beat. Portions are generous, salad and rice refills keep it practical. Not fancy but consistent, which is why I keep going back.

Decent spot with a cozy, rustic interior. The ribeye was cooked well, schnitzel was fine too. Bread with spreads a nice touch to start.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, place was pretty busy but we found a spot easily. I had the pasta, portion was generous for the price. Pizza looked good too, maybe next time. The space is big but somehow still feels cozy. Kids were running around upstairs, which was nice to see. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but overall a decent spot.

Came in a bit early and still got seated right away. Food tasted fresh, especially the fish. Cozy spot, nothing fancy but does the job.

The gambas salad was really good, prawns cooked just right. Quattro formaggi pizza had a nice balance, not too heavy. Terrace is big and dogs are welcome, which I appreciated. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back for that salad.

The terrace is massive, really good spot to just sit and chill. Food arrived fast and the plating looked solid. I had a coffee and brownie to finish it off, that was a nice touch. Brownie was warm, not too sweet. Could've stayed there longer honestly.

The Johnny's Special burger was solid—well-made, decent flavor. Place has a nice vibe too. Fine if you're in the area.

Buffet selection is solid—sushi and sashimi were fresh, and the Chinese dishes had proper wok hei. Nice to see they don't dumb down the seasoning for Western tastes. Worth the price.

We keep coming back for the salmon sashimi—it’s always fresh and they don’t skimp on the portion. The open kitchen is kinda nice to watch while you wait. Place is roomy enough that you’re not bumping elbows with strangers. Only thing is it gets busy around 7, so maybe come a bit earlier if you want a chill vibe. 😊

Pasta was properly al dente and the wine list worked well with the meal. Service friendly enough, though it did take a while to get the bill.

Came here on a sunny afternoon, managed to get a table for our group without a reservation. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Food was decent, well-presented, though nothing mind-blowing. The terrace is the real selling point — nice setting, relaxed vibe. Fair for the price, I'd say. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area, it's a solid option.

The burrata starter was lovely, really creamy with that courgette cream. Tiramisu was fresh and not soggy, one of the better ones I've had.

Been coming here for a while now. The six-course surprise menu with wine pairings is still my go-to. Every dish is creative and the wines just fit. Service knows their stuff too.

We shared several plates and the fish was cooked just right. The chocolate dessert had a nice balance too. Nothing fancy, but decent for a casual bite.

We did high tea here for a birthday. The presentation was really lovely, all those little tiers. Service was friendly too. Snacks were solid, nothing mind-blowing but well done. Cozy vibe inside, nice for a slow afternoon. Just wish the tea refills came a bit quicker.

Not going to lie, we stood in front of the door and considered turning around. The design of the restaurant is ehmm extra in a sense that it is filled with decor everywhere you look. But we didn't. We had a lovely dinner and were greeted by welcoming and lovely staff. There were lots of choices regarding the menu and service was timely. The food was fresh and prepared perfectly! If we didn't live so far away, I'd definitely come back to try all the different dishes

Great experience and fine dining! The food was really tasty and came really quick, service was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a place worth visiting :)
