The risotto is made fresh to order, which is nice. It's definitely the highlight. The staff were also really helpful, even though the place was packed.

The pub's got a really nice, laid-back vibe. I liked the wooden booths, they were comfy for a long chat. Good choice of ales too, all pretty reasonably priced.

The staff were so nice and checked in on us just the right amount. They noticed when our water glasses were low and brought more without us asking. Made the whole lunch feel relaxed and easy.

A nice spot for a drink in a lovely old building. The location is pretty good, right in the centre of town. The historical feel of the place is its main draw, really. It was a bit busy when we went, but that's to be expected.

Been coming here for lunch for ages. The food is always reliable, and the staff are just so friendly. It's a comfortable spot where you can have a quiet, easy meal. The tables are well-spaced, which I really appreciate.

Quick bite sorted. The breakfast looks just like the menu photo, and it's a proper fry-up. Good portion for the price. Got my food fast, which is key for a lunch break. Solid.

Lovely to sit in the garden on a sunny day. The inside is always lively but well-managed, which makes for a relaxed meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

A reliable spot for a nice meal out. The food is always well-presented and tasty. What really makes it for me is the comfortable seating – you can settle in for a while without feeling rushed. A good, straightforward experience.

Popped in for a pint after a walk. The beer selection is fantastic—most are brewed just down the road, which is pretty cool. Sat outside with a view of the lighthouse. A nice, easy spot.

The Cajun chicken burger was spot on, and the location on the pier is lovely. The chips were tasty too.

Good spot for a quick bite. Their fish and chips is solid, comes out fast. Perfect for when you're in a rush. The place gets busy at lunch but they keep things moving.

A proper country pub, lovely cosy feel. The pork belly was spot on, and they had a surprisingly good selection of local ales. The Baileys bread and butter pudding was a treat, went nicely with a glass of something sweet.

Portions were generous for the price. The steak was cooked just right, and the sides were fresh. Good value for money.

A nice spot across from the station. The garden is great for families. I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with my meal—the greens tasted just-picked. A solid choice for a relaxed bite.

The Sunday roast beef was cooked exactly right, still pink in the middle. The gravy was rich and the Yorkshire pudding was crisp. That's what I came for.

Found this pub by chance. Food was solid, service was prompt. The live music was a nice touch. Good spot for a straightforward meal.

The garden room was just lovely for our big group. Kieran and Lola were so on top of everything, really made the evening flow. A nice spot for a special get-together.

The refurb is stunning, love what they've done with the space. Always a treat to see Rukia working the floor, she's so lovely. My cocktail was spot on, and the lamb dish was cooked just right. A really nice spot.

The breakfast was pretty good, and the service was quick. Staff were welcoming, which was nice. My eggs were cooked just right. It's a decent spot for a casual morning meal.

The cocktails were incredible, really well-balanced. The set menu had some nice surprises, though one course felt a bit rushed. Still, a solid evening out.

Friendly staff on the phone for ordering. The interior decor is pleasant.

The chicken supreme was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavour. The wagyu burger was also a highlight, juicy and well-seasoned. They did bring out a side dish that was a bit cold, but they fixed it right away.

Table service is a nice touch, feels a bit old-school compared to other fast-food places. Food was decent.

Love the split-level layout here. Upstairs deck has these great views of the pier and water, perfect for a relaxed meal. Downstairs feels more intimate. It's a clever use of the space.

The Greek salad was lovely. Really fresh ingredients, the feta was creamy and the tomatoes were ripe. I appreciate when a salad feels like a proper, healthy meal. The portion was good too.

Been coming here for years, and it's always reliable. The staff are so friendly, they remember my usual order. It's just a really comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

I called ahead about my nut allergy, and they had a custom menu waiting. The server double-checked everything. Felt so relaxed eating out for once.

Popped in for a quick bite. The chicken korma was spot on, really flavourful and the portion was huge for the price. Staff were nice and chatty too.

A really nice spot for breakfast. The full English was pretty good, everything cooked just right. The place is spotlessly clean too, which is always a plus.
