The breakfast muffin and flat bread were solid, well-made. The hot coffee was decent, but I did wish they had a more interesting single-origin option to pair with the food. A simple, reliable spot for a morning bite.

Decided to try the lunch special. The portion was huge, honestly more than I could finish. Good for the price. Tables and floor were spotless, which is always a plus.

Booked ahead for a Saturday, glad I did – the place was packed. Had the grilled octopus starter. It was cooked just right, tender with a nice char. A bit pricey for the portion, but the flavour was spot on.

Been here a few times for a casual lunch. The jacket potatoes are spot on - proper old-school baked spuds. The outdoor area is dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. Had a decent lager with it, a simple pairing that just works.

Been coming here for years, it's our local. Love that they're so dog-friendly, and the upstairs area is a nice quiet spot. Staff are always helpful with the pram too.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, nice and relaxed. They're dog-friendly too, which is a plus. Good for a quiet pint and they've got the sports on. A solid spot.

The tonkotsu ramen was the real deal, just like the ones I had in Fukuoka. Rich, creamy broth and perfect noodles. A bit pricey, but hit the spot on a rainy evening.

The Angus Smash Big Burger was my first time here. The beef was really tender, and that special yellow sauce is something else. The portion of dirty fries was huge too.

The pastel de nata is the reason I keep coming back. The pastry is incredibly light and flaky, and the custard filling is so smooth and fresh. I always ask for a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Christmas lunch for a big group. Turkey was spot on, everything came out hot.

Ordered a few pizzas for a group. They arrived hot and on time, which was great. The toppings were decent and there was a good variety. Everyone seemed pretty happy with it.

Had our wedding and a birthday party here. The team was friendly and professional, handled everything smoothly. Food was solid, especially the canapés. Made both occasions feel relaxed.

Celebrated a birthday here. Staff were really friendly, made the evening. Food was decent. A bit loud inside though.

The back room was perfect for watching the game. The young server kept the drinks coming without us asking. Menu's huge, but the loaded fries were the standout. Crispy, with just the right amount of cheese and bacon. Could've used a bit more jalapeño kick, though.

Been coming here for years. The breakfast always arrives piping hot, just how I like it.

Been coming here for years after work. That chicken, bacon and salad roll is always spot on - never had a bad one. Staff are sound too.

Parking's a bit of a nightmare, but I'd come back for the chips alone. They're proper fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The wait for them to cook it fresh is fine by me.
