The mains are fantastic, but sides are a bit hit or miss. The coleslaw had way too much mayo for me. Mushy peas were spot on though, really good.

The cocktails are a real highlight. The Purple Rain was a lovely surprise, not too sweet at all. I&#39;d go back just for that. The Pina Colada was nice too.

Lovely old pub, very clean and relaxed. The front and back outdoor spaces are great for a pint. The barman with the beard knew his stuff, suggested a really nice local ale that went perfectly with my ploughman&#39;s lunch. Just what I needed.

Found this when it was flagged on line as one of the best places to eat in West Sussex. Outside is  not very exciting but once in you will be welcomed warmly. Food was excellent, Served piping hot and absolutely delicious - we didn&#39;t manage to finish but not for want of trying.

The beer garden is spotless and feels safe for the kids. What really stood out was how the servers actually chatted with our little ones, made them feel included. That made our family lunch so much more relaxed.

it was nice  and quiet.  starter was fine the main course  was brought  out to soon after  having  the starter. would  be nice  if they ask you  if you  are ready  for  the next course.  otherwise my husband  answer I had a lovely  time.
