Love that the AYCE rolls are on the smaller side. Got to try way more stuff without hitting that wall of fullness halfway through. Smart move.

The Surfin&#39; Bird sandwich is so good! I love that you can customize everything. They were really chill about my friend&#39;s nut allergy, which made our group lunch way less stressful.

The truffle butter rolls were a nice start. Warm, savory, and you could really taste the truffle. For the price though, I expected a bit more than two small rolls. They were good, just a little light for what you pay.

The food is as good as ever, maybe even better than I remember from a couple years back. The wine list is solid. But what really stood out this time was the lighting&mdash;soft and warm, made the whole place feel so relaxed.

Andy was our server and he really knew his stuff. We asked about a few dishes and he gave honest, detailed answers. He checked on us just enough without hovering. That kind of attentive service is hard to find. Made the whole meal feel smooth and relaxed.

The shrimp tacos here are legit. That chipotle sauce is smoky and just spicy enough. The steak ones were solid too. Place does get pretty loud though, had to lean in to chat.

Got the chicken rice soup by the window. Big chunks of potato and carrot. Watching the lit-up tree and the station outside was pretty nice. Just a cozy spot for a hot bowl.
