If you are looking for a tranquil escape where you can unwind in peace, you may want to look elsewhere. While the Hôtel & Spa RÉGENT Petite France boasts a stunning aesthetic and an unbeatable location in the heart of the historic district, the actual experience is far from serene. The building itself is immaculate—the cleanliness and amenities are top-tier, and you can’t fault the "Instagrammable" views. However, the atmosphere is surprisingly high-energy and restless. It feels more like a bustling crossroads than a quiet sanctuary. The Service Gap The most jarring part of the stay is the service. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury spa destination, the staff interaction is disappointingly cold and inefficient. • Lack of Hospitality: Don't expect a warm welcome or proactive assistance. The service feels transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Verdict If you just need a clean, beautiful room in a prime spot and don't mind navigating a service-less, high-traffic environment, this works. But if your goal is to be pampered in a quiet, stress-free bubble, the service hurdles here will likely leave you frustrated.

It is a very nice hotel in a perfect location for the city. Area around the hotel is lovely, great history 

The hotel has an excellent location, right in the heart of beautiful Petite France, which was the highlight of our stay. The surrounding area is charming and made it very convenient to explore Strasbourg on foot. However, the overall service was somewhat average for a 5-star hotel. The front-office service could have been warmer and more attentive, and the spa experience was also fairly average. One practical issue with the room was the shower design. The shower screen was too small, resulting in water splashing onto and wetting a large portion of the bathroom floor. On a positive note, there was one housekeeper who was exceptionally helpful and polite and greeted me warmly every morning. Her friendliness was genuinely appreciated. Overall, we had a good stay mainly because of the excellent location and the beauty of Petite France. However, based on our experience, the service did not quite match what I would expect from a 5-star property.

Lovely place. Really small city. Good to spend one or two days walking around it, boat trip is must to be done. Take wine and cheese on board to enjoy your trip even more. A lot of really small and cozy restaurants.
