If you are looking for a tranquil escape where you can unwind in peace, you may want to look elsewhere. While the Hôtel & Spa RÉGENT Petite France boasts a stunning aesthetic and an unbeatable location in the heart of the historic district, the actual experience is far from serene. The building itself is immaculate—the cleanliness and amenities are top-tier, and you can’t fault the "Instagrammable" views. However, the atmosphere is surprisingly high-energy and restless. It feels more like a bustling crossroads than a quiet sanctuary. The Service Gap The most jarring part of the stay is the service. For a hotel that presents itself as a luxury spa destination, the staff interaction is disappointingly cold and inefficient. • Lack of Hospitality: Don't expect a warm welcome or proactive assistance. The service feels transactional at best and dismissive at worst. Verdict If you just need a clean, beautiful room in a prime spot and don't mind navigating a service-less, high-traffic environment, this works. But if your goal is to be pampered in a quiet, stress-free bubble, the service hurdles here will likely leave you frustrated.

Lovely place. Really small city. Good to spend one or two days walking around it, boat trip is must to be done. Take wine and cheese on board to enjoy your trip even more. A lot of really small and cozy restaurants.

This is the second time I have visited this hotel this year. The first time was in May and the second in December. I absolutely loved everything about the hotel the first time but the second time was a disaster. We were allocated the worst room in the hotel with a window that looked out onto a wall just a few feet away and the decor was rough and depressing. Thankfully they let us have a different room the following day but this should never have happened. There was a very brash tall lady who wore glasses on reception who was rude, ignorant and officious with me which spoiled my holiday. Restaurant staff, porters and housekeeping staff were great. We will never return I'm afraid. Gerry

The hotel was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows allowed for a great nights sleep. The Spa experience was a brilliant way to relax after exploring the city.
