I came here for the sunset, and the service was good. However, I want to warn you that the hotel is quite old. Don't book a direct pool access room. The main building is primarily for Caucasians, while Chinese guests are often placed in a separate wing, and our room was very shady (you know what I mean). I didn't dare to sleep all night. If you do come, book a beachside or garden view bungalow. Those rooms get more sunlight and are more comfortable. Also, I recommend trying the hotel's beachside restaurant, but definitely skip the beachside massage! The therapist was incredibly forceful, and their hands were so rough it was painful. Super uncomfortable!

The views are lovely, and it's right on Tukka Beach where you can go kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and even try some clam digging. The big trees in the common areas are beautiful. The restaurant mainly serves Western food, which got a bit repetitive after a while. When I booked, there weren't any connecting rooms available, so I ended up with a deluxe room and a pool access room upstairs. On the first night, there was no hot water, and even after it was fixed, it took a long time to heat up. I didn't get to shower until midnight in the public bathroom, which was a very unpleasant experience as I was so tired. I didn't even get to have a proper soak. The hotel upgraded me to a pool access room for the second night, which wasn't a huge upgrade but I accepted it rather than argue. Overall, if it's not peak season, the value for money is excellent. During peak season, it's about average.

Tubkaek Beach was our chosen sunset destination for our family trip to Krabi. Tubkaek Beach is renowned as one of Krabi's most beautiful sunset viewing spots. This hotel is located right next to a famous 5-star hotel that was once featured on Unseen Thailand, sharing the same beachfront. As for the hotel itself, the pool-view room we stayed in was spacious with a large balcony. The hotel boasts two swimming pools. The rooms are decorated with wood, giving them a vintage feel, but they are well-maintained. The hotel has a continuous beachfront access, so it's just a short walk from the room to the beach. The staff provided excellent and polite service. The restaurant offers stunning views of the islands and mountains in the sea. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious, especially the fish congee, which was superb. The hotel offers a shuttle service for transportation within the property and free kayak activities. It's perfect for a relaxing stay where you don't need to leave the hotel.

The hotel is relatively quiet and a bit far from town, so the surrounding amenities aren't very convenient. Kids also have to pay extra for breakfast, and you can't just get an extra duvet; they charge it as an extra bed.
