Sleep Box Penang

We had a great stay at Sleep Box Penang. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was excellent with everything we needed nearby. Overall, a very convenient and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent friendly front desk staff! The room was immaculate with even the little things added like a mirror, clothes hangers, water jug, coffee cups and an easy phone recharge station next to the bed. Hot water for drinking, a microwave and fridge was on the floor too. I stayed during the week and the noise from the bar next door was barely heard over the sound of the vent and air conditioner. I hear the music at the bar gets louder on the weekend though. Overall, highly recommend! Thank you for the comfortable stay!

As advertised. I appreciate that my room was spacious and clean. It has everything I needed. There's water dispenser right outside, and always someone at the counter. Location is good. Though as per what the reviews say, it can get really noisy at night, even when I wore ear plug. Overall a pleasant experience.

I enjoyed my stay at sleep box, it was very centrally located along Chulia street and close to many of the main attractions, and eateries. You can walk to most places to visit in under 15 mins. The room and toilets were clean for hostel standards. The room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The water pressure is very strong and good temperature control. The only down side is the noise at night, as there is a bar beside it. On weekends it is a lot noisier and louder. My phone measured the sound at around 40-60 decibels on a Friday night. Unlimited ear plugs are provided which is good.

Fantastic stay at Sleep Box Penang! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of George Town, making it super easy to explore local street art, cafes, and hawker food by walking. The room is cozy, modern, and spotlessly clean.
