Dunhuang Yun'an Sand Residence Homestay

A super warm guesthouse, perfect for families. It's run by a kind and beautiful hostess and her handsome brother. The quad room was clean and spacious, and came with its own private hot spring bath. The guesthouse environment is lovely, and the restaurant setting is also very nice. From the window, you can see a small garden with many flowers planted by the hostess. The vegetables in the restaurant are picked directly from their own garden, which makes the food feel safe and healthy for your stomach. The hostess's brother makes delicious meals. The small dog kept by the owner is also super cute and very photogenic. When we left, the brother even drove us to the airport. The whole stay was very thoughtful and our family felt incredibly comfortable.

The room was very spacious, clean, and stylishly designed. Most importantly, the owner's service was exceptional – they showed such warm, family-like care. They even cooked noodles for us when we returned at midnight, hungry, without any complaints, which was incredibly touching! The towels were clean, and they also provided disposable towels and bedsheets, catering to different guest preferences. Plus, there was a self-service fruit orchard with unlimited fruit. Truly, a big thumbs up! 👍👍👍

Unlike traditional hotels and other guesthouses, this one truly felt like a warm and safe home away from home. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They patiently helped us with all our questions throughout our stay. When we arrived, it was peak summer in Dunhuang, and they had already turned on the air conditioning in our room before we even got there. Upon arrival, the owner prepared some local specialty fruits and brewed apricot tea for us. Although we only spent two days with them, this guesthouse made our Qinghai-Gansu trip even more unforgettable! I will definitely be back!!! We were traveling the Qinghai-Gansu loop with our elderly parents and young children, and stayed one night in Dunhuang. We chose this guesthouse, and it was very quiet, with a decor style that really appealed to younger tastes. My family was very happy with our stay. The noodles for breakfast were delicious, and so were the apricots! I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

I stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel's design is beautiful, and the room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to details; there were snacks and local apricot peel tea available in the lobby. Staying at this guesthouse felt just like being back at a friend's home – very relaxing, easy, and pleasant. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. I hope everyone gets to experience the genuine warmth and hospitality during their travels here. Their raisins are also highly recommended!

I highly recommend staying here! You can really feel the warmth and hospitality of the people from Northwest China 🥰🥰🥰 The room design is beautiful, and the environment is clean and hygienic. The nine-compartment breakfast is delicious and nutritious – perfect for ladies who love beauty and taking photos! Come on, you won't regret it 😁😁

The room was beautiful and very close to Mingsha Mountain. It was also easy to get a taxi. The area was very quiet, so I slept really well. I especially want to highlight that the owner, a lovely lady, was incredibly kind, and the guy who picked me up was also very nice. The service was absolutely fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! Highly recommend!
