The hotel room was quiet and the location was excellent. However, the bathroom facilities were a bit old, and the water pressure for the showerhead and toilet was low. On our first day, the breakfast area was so crowded that the three coffee machines kept breaking down, and the long queue for coffee forced us to give up on getting any.

Location is excellent. The hotel is at walking distance from a river stream, which gets beautiful waterfall and light shows in evening every day. The square is lively with locals dancing on zumba, music in the garden near the river, lots and lots of restaurants. Hotel itself is pretty basic as it's infrastructure is little old. But it is functional. Nice bed to sleep. Good breakfast spread - includes lots of options for vegetarians. Includes English breakfast options like egg station, baked beans, bread and croissants. Though the egg station chef lady is a bit rude if you show her translated Chinese text on phone to request egg white omelette. Staff know little English so ordering room service is painful. Bathroom rain shower was broken and hand shower was also old and high pressure. So shower amenities can be improved. This was the condition in Executive room. Executive lounge is also under renovation.

Deng Weipeng, one of the hotel staff, was incredibly thoughtful. Right after we checked in, he immediately helped us plan our sightseeing itinerary and booked tickets for the National Forest Park, Charming Xiangxi Show, and Yellow Dragon Cave. He was always available to answer our questions – truly excellent service! For our honeymoon, they upgraded our room, decorated it beautifully, and even provided a cake. Our experience was absolutely perfect.

The hotel is located near the East Gate of the forest park, with many dining options nearby, and there's even a night market street right outside the hotel. The breakfast is abundant, and the room is spacious with a very comfortable bed. As soon as we got out of the car, staff members were there to help us with our luggage. The service is excellent.
