Novotel Jinji Lake Suzhou SIP

I brought my family to Suzhou this time and was very satisfied with the hotel I booked. First, the transportation was great; the Metro Line 1 was very convenient, especially since it's close to the Contemporary Art Museum. What's even better is that this metro station isn't crowded, so getting in and out was very comfortable. The room was also nice and cleaned very well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. From the room, you could even see the 'big trousers' (CCTV Tower), which was pretty cool. For breakfast, they had delicious Suzhou red soup noodles, and the broth was just as good as what you'd find outside. Thumbs up!

Conveniently located with excellent hygiene. Grace at the front desk provided meticulous service, making for a great experience. It's very close to Jinji Lake, perfect for a 1314 (13.14 km) run – so nice! Our room even offered views of the 'Big Trousers' building, a fantastic location to enjoy the evening light show.

When I booked the room, I left a note that it was my birthday. The front desk manager, Candy, saw the note and proactively contacted me. Since it was already the afternoon and it would be difficult to prepare a cake, she offered to upgrade my room and provide complimentary breakfast. The experience was quite good!

Arrived in Suzhou's Jinji Lake, and for the price of an all-season hotel, I booked a Novotel, part of the French Accor Group, which gave me many pleasant surprises. It's in the same building as the Suzhou International Expo Center, and just a short walk across the street to the Culture and Arts Center, the subway station, Moonlight Wharf, and nearby shopping streets. From the window, you can overlook the Gate of the Orient – truly an excellent location. Although the hotel opened some time ago, the quality of its hardware facilities and the comfortable and aesthetically pleasing design clearly reflect the excellent guarantee of an international brand. The room, though not large, even has a lake-view balcony. The hotel provides complimentary coffee, and there's a coffee capsule machine in the room, which made me, a heavy coffee drinker, very happy. The hotel staff also provided excellent service. I really like it here and will choose this hotel again next time I visit Suzhou's Jinji Lake.

I chose this hotel because it advertised a shuttle service for concert-goers at the Olympic Sports Center. Turns out, you need to book a special package for it, and it's just a small minibus with only 19 seats. At check-in, they told me I got an upgrade to a room with a 'view' – which just meant a view of the 'Big Trousers' building (CCTV Headquarters). The furniture in the room was really old. My travel companion joked that everything was crooked except for the bed; the chairs, pillows, and sofa were all lopsided.

The hotel's location is quite good, close to Jinji Lake, making transportation very convenient with direct subway access. Serena at the front desk was very enthusiastic and helpful.

Very convenient, right by Jinji Lake. I used to stay at the InterContinental whenever I came to Suzhou, but this time I tried the Novotel and felt it offered excellent value for money. The room was spacious and even had a balcony. I've definitely added this one to my favorites!

This hotel offers a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clean, tidy, and the rooms are well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The service attitude is excellent and attentive. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, and the lake view is spectacular. At night, the iconic 'Big Trousers' building (CCTV Tower) lights up with beautiful flashing neon lights. The breakfast is also plentiful, offering both Western and Chinese options, with unique flavors and an elegant setting.
