Designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel, the museum's most striking feature is its colossal, openwork dome. This 180-meter-diameter dome is composed of over 8,000 geometric star-shaped components, layered in eight interconnected structures. Inspired by traditional Arabic architecture and desert palm leaves, it appears light and airy, yet its weight rivals that of the Eiffel Tower. The most spectacular feature is its unique "rain of light." Sunlight filters through the dome's intricate openings, casting dappled patterns of light and shadow that shift and change with the angle of the sunlight, resembling a shower of stars.
