This was my first stay, and I was extremely satisfied. The hotel staff were very attentive, and check-in was seamless. The lobby offered complimentary drinks. On our last day, the hotel staff even provided free transportation to Namba Station. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

I have never stayed in a hotel that was so thoughtful, clean, tidy, and quick to respond. As someone who works in the tourism industry and has seen countless customer complaints from hotels in various countries, I didn't have high expectations for this stay, but I was truly pleasantly surprised. I was traveling with my family, including elderly relatives, so I chose this hotel. The location is undeniably excellent – super close to the subway station, and a commercial district is just a short walk away. The hotel isn't located on a main road either, so there's practically no noise. Upon arrival in the afternoon, the check-in staff thoroughly showed us a video outlining important information. Coincidentally, a Chinese-speaking staff member was on duty, so everything went very smoothly. There were also welcome drinks, which was a nice touch, and a gentleman even helped us carry our luggage to the room. Every staff member during our stay was incredibly professional and friendly. Several times, when I returned, I saw the staff standing, working so hard. Since we booked for three people, the hotel very thoughtfully upgraded one of the smaller beds to a larger one for our convenience. One evening, the air conditioning might have been set too low and made some noise. When we contacted the hotel the next day, someone immediately came to help us adjust it. We also asked for an extra blanket and chair, and the response speed was on par with a five-star hotel. My elderly family members absolutely loved the massage chair. After a full day of sightseeing, they would go downstairs to relax with a massage, then head to the coffee area for a drink and play billiards. This is the kind of relaxation and rest one should have after traveling, a stark contrast to merely sleeping in other hotels. The daily housekeeping was also very meticulous. One time, I forgot to take something out when housekeeping came. The staff entered the room without wearing shoes, and every time we returned, we could tell that the room had been thoroughly and deeply cleaned, not just superficially. This is truly rare. The hotel originally offered paid airport transfer, but since we were going to a different destination, we didn't book it through the hotel. However, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful and drove us to the train station, even showing us which entrance to use. One morning, I carelessly left my necklace in the room. By the time I remembered, we were already two hours away from the hotel and about to board our flight. The hotel quickly responded, confirming they found the lost item and kept it safe, and they actively communicated with us via email. Because the necklace had special meaning, I asked the hotel to help mail it back. The hotel went to great lengths to find a local logistics company to ship it back to China, and they didn't even charge a fee. I have never encountered such a thoughtful hotel. This hotel's star rating is truly understated; it should be a five-star. This will be my first choice when I visit Osaka next time.

Absolutely fantastic! The room was much more spacious than what was advertised on their website. The TV had internet channels, so we weren't stuck with just Japanese programs. My two kids absolutely loved it. They offered free coffee and milk tea on the first floor every day, which was a nice touch. The front desk had Chinese-speaking staff who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. On our last day, they even drove us to the Nankai Electric Railway station entrance and helped us with our luggage along the way. This was by far the best service we've experienced in Japan. The best part is the location – there are tons of food options nearby, and Dotonbori is only a 5-minute walk. The subway station is just 3 minutes away, which makes it incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

As a 'J-person' (someone who plans everything meticulously), traveling with two seniors and two children, I needed a spacious room, close to Shinsaibashi shopping, convenient for airport transfers, and with easy access to Universal Studios. I literally scoured reviews for almost every hotel near Shinsaibashi and Namba for days because we were staying for 6 consecutive nights. After much comparison, I finally settled on Hotel 88, and it's by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in during all my trips to Japan. The hotel is just 50 meters from Namba Station Exit 22, making it super convenient for getting to Universal Studios, Umeda, and other places. There was almost always at least one Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was never an issue. They even took our luggage to our room while we were checking in. The ground floor has a super spacious common area with tables and chairs. Next to it, there's a self-service station with free coffee, drinks, hot water, and ice. They even provide cutlery, including bowls, chopsticks, knives, and forks, all immaculately clean. Staff were constantly tidying up. The main building and annex rooms have separate elevators. The triple room was incredibly spacious, with a fridge, microwave, sofa, and table. For this price point, a room of this size and comfort is astonishing for a hotel in Japan. When we checked out, the front desk staff saw we had luggage and offered to drive us to Nankai Namba Station (about a 10-minute walk). They also helped with our bags, and their attitude was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Shinsaibashi or Namba. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Both the seniors and children universally praised it!

The hotel location is super convenient, and the front desk staff speak fluent English. We received a welcome drink upon check-in, and there are plenty of facilities in the lobby, like massage chairs and complimentary drinks. The room was spotlessly clean, and the large TV offered Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming services. It even had a Dyson hairdryer! The only minor drawback was the sink design; it was easy to splash water everywhere when washing my face, so I ended up using the bathroom sink instead. Upon checkout, a staff member drove us to Nankai Namba Station. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again!
