Sapporo Park Hotel

Great location. The breakfast was really good lol. It's pretty decent overall lol.

The hotel's location is super convenient! 👍🏻 It's right next to the subway station, but you might not even need to use it because Susukino is within walking distance. The room was very comfortable 👍🏻 and the view from the window was amazing! Parking was also very easy 👍🏻. The staff were incredibly attentive and their English was perfect 👌🏻, making communication a breeze. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I heard this hotel is closing next year, so I wanted to check it out before it does. The environment is lovely, right next to Nakajima Park, and the Hoheikan and Japanese Garden inside are definitely worth exploring. The hotel itself is quite grand, with a bit of a subdued luxury feel, but the staff weren't very friendly. Generally, high-end hotels in Japan are like this; I still prefer the front desk at Toyoko Inn, they're much more welcoming. The room had all the usual amenities and toiletries, but no four-piece makeup remover and skincare set for women. I'm not sure if the front desk just didn't tell me where to get it. The single room was very small, though the bathroom was a bit larger than a typical business hotel. The comforter was really uncomfortable; they used a sheet to cover it, and I have no idea how long it had been since the comforter itself was washed. When you moved around in your sleep, you were bound to touch the comforter. The breakfast dining area was pleasant, overlooking a garden, but the variety was quite ordinary, and the taste was just so-so.

This hotel boasts an excellent location! Nakajima Park is right downstairs, and in the mornings, you can see many people walking their dogs and strolling around. Directly across the street is a Lawson convenience store, perfect for grabbing some bread and snacks to enjoy in the park, where pigeons and crows will come begging for food. The Nakajima Koen subway station is also right downstairs. It's just a three-stop, 5-minute ride to Sapporo JR Station, a major transportation hub. Alternatively, you can choose to walk there, it's only about 1 kilometer north. Plus, walking north takes you through Susukino, Sapporo's most lively district, then a little further north to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, Sapporo's best shopping area, and then even further north to Odori Park, Sapporo's central axis, before finally reaching Sapporo JR Station. I often went downstairs in the middle of the night when I was hungry, walking 10 minutes to Susukino for some late-night eats. The hotel itself is quite grand, truly living up to its 5-star standard, and the staff are very friendly and polite. The rooms aren't large, which is typical for Japanese hotels, but they are perfectly functional. There's a refrigerator in the room, so you can buy cold drinks and ice cream from the convenience store to store there and enjoy at night. However, you can tell the hotel is indeed old, having been built in 1964, with some areas showing signs of age. But the best part is that the price of this hotel was surprisingly affordable. For a 5-star hotel, I paid only 750 (yen) a night when I stayed in late August, which truly amazed me. Since I wrote this review on a computer, I can't upload a video here, so I'll just leave it at that. If I come to Sapporo again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

Sapporo Park Hotel boasts an excellent location and a tranquil environment. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the triple room offers ample space. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive, making for a comfortable stay. It's highly suitable for families traveling with children.

This hotel is right by Exit 3 of Nakajima Park, and it was lovely to stroll around the park in the morning. There's also the Hoheikan and a Japanese garden within the park, full of colorful flowers, green grass, blue skies, white clouds, and birds – truly refreshing. It's a shame the park will be closed for renovations starting next February, but you can feel the care put into everything there. The hotel pajamas were beautiful too. Such a pity about the closure.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: The garden views are beautiful, as shown in the pictures. There's a direct path leading into the park. It's very close to the subway station, and there's an elevator. Service: Excellent. The check-in process was seamless, and a butler escorted us to the room and explained the in-room facilities. The breakfast was rich and varied.
