Nohga Hotel Ueno Tokyo

The hotel is a 5‑minute walk from Exit 2 of Ueno Station. The restaurant and front desk are on the first floor. The room is nice, though the mattress is quite firm. I’m very satisfied that the shower, toilet and washbasin are separate.

The hotel is located at a quiet area. The room is spacious and clean. You will get the welcome drink with a token on 2/F.

We loved our stay at Nohga Hotel. The location is great, close to metro and JR stations and walking distance from Skyliner. The area is calmer than others in Tokyo but there are still many things to do. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, one main dish to choose and buffet. The rooms are comfortable and silent. We totally recommend it!

We loved our little shoebox in Tokyo! It was tiny, but very clean and well thought out. Only things missing were somewhere around the sink to hang hand-towels and an extractor fan in the bathroom. Felt strange not to have one in such a small, windowless space and would have helped with drying the towels. Loved the communal areas, the library was full of great books and pamphlets on Tokyo. Gorgeous space to lounge in. We enjoyed live Jazz one Friday night, which was absolutely beautiful. Laundry room very clean and well laid out, with iron as well as 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Really liked this area and right next door to lounge! Location also great, walking distance to Ueno station and many museums and attractions. Easy to get around and very lively area. Gorgeous reception staff. Overall lovely vibe. We were happy to stay here for 5 nights and could have stayed more!

The location is fantastic as it is close to a major subway line, a massive park and lots of food while also being relatively quiet. The room itself is quite squished and the service was only okay as it was all self service including replenishing waters. I would go again but not have high service expectations.
