Hotel Indigo LIJIANG ANCIENT TOWN by IHG

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right at the entrance of the ancient town. It's also very quiet, and the hotel staff are warm and attentive without being overbearing.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Indigo Lijiang. Although the lobby is small, all the staff are very friendly and have a great attitude. Patrick and Lison were both wonderful, checking in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. Luggage handling up and down the stairs is quite hard work, but they were very prompt in responding. Thank you!

For the last night of our trip to Lijiang, we chose Hotel Indigo. Although the Lijiang Ancient Town property is relatively small, it focuses on a neighborhood culture concept. With its well-layered courtyards and Ancient Tea Horse Road elements, it's small yet exquisite. The staff are exceptionally attentive. For breakfast, you can either head to the adjacent InterContinental or dine at the hotel's Tea Horse Restaurant, which offers an elegant ambiance and delicious food.

The most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Lijiang! The room is well-equipped, clean, and has great soundproofing. The hotel's lush garden courtyard is lovely, and it's so relaxing to have tea in the small courtyard in the afternoon. For breakfast, you can have the buffet at the InterContinental, but I preferred the set menu here at Hotel Indigo—the Eggs Benedict totally won me over. The service was the absolute highlight. The butler was available 24/7 and resolved issues promptly, especially David, whose attentive and thoughtful service and wonderful attitude were top-notch!

The hotel has a lot of character and is very exquisite. The location is great and getting around is very convenient. All my family members were very satisfied. It really added extra points to our trip to Lijiang, and a big thumbs up to staff member David 👍

An amazing experience, thanks so much to Lydia Huang for her wonderful hospitality. The service is top-notch! I’d love to stay at Hotel Indigo again next time I visit Yunnan. My trip was too short this time, and there's still so much I didn't get to experience.
