Vincci the Mint

A really lovely stay. We were here as a family — last year when I came on business, the family stayed here as well. All the staff were thoroughly professional and polite; you can tell from chatting with them that they have a really good outlook. The location is also extremely convenient. We stayed at Vincci Mint Madrid from January 10 to 13. Overall, the hotel was good and the rooms were clean and tidy. Initially, I was close to giving an excellent review. However, after staying at another Vincci property in Málaga, the difference in hospitality was noticeable. In Málaga, the service was top-notch — from the receptionist to the attendants, everyone delivered outstanding service. By comparison, the service at Vincci Mint felt more average. The location of Vincci Mint Madrid is excellent and very convenient. On the downside, the rooms are not soundproof, and you can hear quite a lot of noise. The terrace was also closed during our stay, possibly due to the weather. In summary, a good hotel with a great location and cleanliness, but service and soundproofing could be improved to match the standards of other Vincci hotels.

Located on Gran Via, but parking for drop off/ pickup will be on a small street across Gran Via. Room is spacious. Staff is courteous. Overall good stay

Great hotel with a central location. Service was excellent and the buffet breakfast ran till 2pm, which was awesome for late risers. I do wish they have a gym and the rooms can be rather small. The upkeep of the room can be better — our shower was either too hot or cold when we adjusted it. The sofa sank down a lil and I feel the housekeep could help in the upkeep by mopping the floor daily, and ensuring the sofa cover is sent for regular cleaning.
