Qingyuan Gulong Gorge Gulong Hotel

We checked into Gulong Hotel on the afternoon of the 5th. The drive was smooth, and we parked directly at the hotel's P2 parking lot. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. There was complimentary tea and ice cream on the first floor. The room fridge had free honey water and a small fruit platter. Staying on the 5th floor also gave us access to a laundry room, which was incredibly convenient! We spent the first day exploring the scenic area. The buffet breakfast the next day was excellent; the soy milk had a rich, authentic soy flavor, definitely not the instant kind! We lined up for the rafting at 10:30 AM, and it started 40 minutes later. It was so exhilarating, and the atmosphere was fantastic the whole way. Even though we were all strangers, no one held back, haha... It ended at 11:30 AM, and I was shivering from the cold, so I went back to the hotel for a hot shower before checking out and heading home! It was such a blissful experience; I'll definitely be back!

The hotel has a fantastic location, right at the entrance of the scenic area. If you want a relaxing trip and have enough time, I highly recommend staying here for a night. The room is fully equipped, and there was complimentary honey water in the fridge, which tasted great! Disposable towels were also provided, which was very convenient for rafting 👍

The hotel is excellent. The Gulong twin room is spacious and very clean. The two young men at the front desk provided great service, and the breakfast was also very rich. If you're visiting Gulong Gorge, I highly recommend staying here.

The location is superb, and rooms are often fully booked. It was hard to get a room on our first visit without an advance reservation, so this time we booked ahead. It's really convenient for rafting. **Hygiene**: The hygiene was a bit poor. The third picture shows the nightstand I photographed, which was quite shocking. **Environment**: We booked two rooms, and the smoke smell in one of them was still so strong it was chok**ing even when I opened the door the next morning. The hotel didn't address it. **Service**: The service was quite good. I asked for a two-hour late check-out for one of the rooms because we were going rafting, and the hotel readily agreed. I appreciate that.

The hotel is very unique, and the service is excellent. Its location right inside the scenic area is super convenient. Five-star rating, highly recommended!

I didn't sleep well at night. I could hear noises from the next room in the middle of the night, indicating very poor sound insulation. The air conditioning was also very noisy. If you value peace and quiet, I strongly advise against choosing this place.

The hotel is right next to the scenic area's ticket office, which is super convenient for showering and changing after rafting. The hotel environment and facilities are excellent, and our kids absolutely loved the family room we booked.

The bedding smelled of smoke. It's an old hotel, so with many guests, the facilities are a bit older and not as good. The location, however, is definitely the best.
