One of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and I travel alot. It is a filthy hotel, mold and dirt in the bathroom, no towel for the bathroom floor, no wifi that works in the rooms, no airconditioning, only one soap and one toiletroll in the rooms. No change of the wornout towels even in they are soakingwet since the shower is spilling out water into the hall. The worst thing is that when we arrived to check in in our prepaid and confirmed room they told us that they did not have any room. We had to wait one hour and by the help of our travel agency we got our prepaid room. (!!) A steep stony and muddy road leads up to the hotel. O ly one thing is good: the view is magic.

An okay stay
I want to begin by saying the 3 people working the front desk during our three-night stay were awesome!
All three were courteous, professional and very helpful. As for the room, it was average. The bed was just okay but the bathroom and shower were good. But there was no A/C and it apparently could not be fixed while we were there which was disappointing. The breakfast buffet was just okay--nothing special. I could not get the room safe to work properly. For the money i paid for the room, i was expecting it to be more comfortable. Location of the hotel was good as it was just minutes from the town center.

Very nice, clean and peaceful accommodations with truly professional and friendly staff. The hotel is outside of downtown but has a nice restaurant and prompt service to recommend places in town, arrange transportation and tend to every need.

Okay Stay
The hotel is nice but there is no AC and it gets VERY hot in Calafate in the afternoons during summer. There’s no AC in the lobby either to be able to cool off. The bedrooms could be updated as they are a little outdated and so is the bathroom.

We stayed here three nights. We actually enjoy the stay and we found everything as expected. It is a 4 star hotel and service is limited to that. All staff is very friendly, particularly Agustina who was always very helpful. The views to the lake as you enter the lobby are magnificent. You will still see that from your room. Rooms are confortable and bath shower work very well. There is plenty of parking space if you are driving and it is free. I was not concern about the distance to downtown as I was by car. Perhaps if walking you might need to take a taxi more often. I do recommend the place if you expectations on service and amenities are not huge. One opportunity for improvement is breakfast. It is free and enough but it didn’t change at all during our stay.

É extremamente importante que as fotos ou a descrição do hotel deixem claro que o hotel não possui elevador e que a conexão da parte superior , onde existem quartos , com parte inferior, onde está o restaurante, é feita por escadas. Isto traz dificuldade enorme as pessoas que tenham dificuldade de mobilidade , quer seja por idade ou por deficiência. Fiquei na parte inferior e tive que descer escadas com malas. Se ficasse na parte superior teria que acessar o restaurante por escadas. Outras coisas poderiam ser melhoradas também. O acesso por carro até a recepção é feio , sem asfalto. Não há alguém para te recepcionar e ajudar com as malas. Os funcionários em geral parecem fazer o básico e não estão muito preocupados em agradar os hóspedes. Falta treinamento. Mais profissionalização. O hotel só disponibiliza Room Service após as 19 hs e assim mesmo não ficamos sabendo o que ofereciam. Tivemos que solicitar delivery pois fazia frio para ir a cidade. O ponto alto é a vista para o lago Argentino.
