Shanghai Maglev Train

The Shanghai Maglev Train starts from Longyang Road Station on Metro Line 2 in the west and ends at Pudong Terminal 1 and 2 Station in the east. The line is 30 kilometers long and the single-line running time is only 7 minutes and 20 seconds. It is the world's first high-speed maglev train put into commercial operation, with a departure interval of 15 to 40 minutes.

The maglev train uses the principle of "like repels like and opposites attract" to give magnets the ability to resist gravity, allowing the car body to completely leave the track, float about 1 cm above the track, and travel in the air, creating the miracle of nearly "zero altitude" space flight.

The Shanghai Maglev Train has a designed speed of 430 km/h, but an actual speed of about 380 km/h. This curve can cause the scenery outside the car to deform when passing through the curve, thus affecting the vision of the passengers inside the car and producing a deceleration effect.
