Hotel Resol Ueno

Whenever I visit Tokyo I like to spend a few days in Ueno to get my kitchen fix at Kappabashi and Ameyoko for dried seafood. Hotel Resol is the PERFECT location (13 min walk to Kappabashi or 3 min train). You can also walk to Asakusa or a quick train. The hotel is beautiful, immaculate and has cheerful and artistic decor.  We had to change rooms the 3rd night (twin was fully booked) and the staff made the change seamless and easy by moving us across the hall the next morning. They were so helpful. I prefer the newer boutique hotels like Resol to big chains because of their cleanliness and attention to details. Every room has a 3 head charger wire for your electronics. My only comment is the hair dryer wasn't working so well in room 2. For sure u will be back again; I loved my stay. So comfortable!

We stay for two nights. The best thing of the hotel is the location, just a short walking distance to the train station. Hotel room is clean and tidy but little small. We definitely we stay here again.

The place is very easy-accessible with Ueno Train Station and they have amenities for free and all staffs are nice and friendly!

The accommodation was clean and odorless, suitable for two people. The staff were helpful; I forgot something, and they kept it and returned it to me in Thailand. I was very impressed with their assistance. Bakery and soup were also available.

The hotel is close to the Ueno station which makes travelling by train very convenient. The hotel nearby also has familymart nearby. It is also a 5-10 mins walk to the skyliner station which makes this hotel a good start of the trip or end of the trip hotel. Despite that, the shower head of our room was leaking water and was broken.

Stayed at Hotel Resol Ueno and it was an excellent choice. The location is perfect—very convenient and close to transport, making it easy to get around Tokyo. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, especially for a city hotel. Service was great, staff were friendly and efficient throughout the stay. Amenities were also more than sufficient for a comfortable trip. Overall, everything was smooth and easy. A great option if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and reliable stay in Tokyo.
