Grand Poet Hotel and Spa by Semarah

Room was in a great condition but it tends to be a bit dark, bathroom shower tub doesn’t drain water properly but the rest are functional. Breakfast spread was amazing, great location on the quieter side, takes less than 10 mins to get to the old town- overall I’d love to come back!

Very close to downtown, the service is excellent, including the breakfast in your reservations makes sense

Great hotel Centrally located with quiet room and nice design

Seriously, I've been to so many luxury hotel/resorts. And this is the BEST one with the Price + Services + Every detail of the room/hotel + Amazing sauna/spa + Breakfast with champagne! The only downside is that you will need to pass the park to get to the oldtown. But this location also a benefit to take a taxi/bolt in easy way.

An absolute 10/10 stay! The design is mind-blowing, the service is top-notch, and the rooms are quiet and spotlessly clean. We loved the huge bathtub in our room. Spa and gym access were included in the price, though we unfortunately ran out of time to use them. Location is fantastic, and we are already planning our return!

A must stay next to old town. Less then 2 minutes walk. Shops nearby

Slap bang in the middle of Rīga, everything is walking distance, about 15 minutes tops to either direction and all the art nouveau architecture you could desire! Furthest walk was to the Holy Trinity Church, which you have to go over the bridge, but totally worth it. This hotel is mainly closest to the Orthadox church near a huge park. Breakfast has a variety, even if you're vegan too! Was impressed that you can have plant based milk hot coffees (but machine is very slow and temperamental). Would be nice to have had some vegan sausages, but you won't go hungry. The room I had was lush, very comfortable bedding, just a shame about the view, was facing the inside of the building and carpark. I would say for a 5 star hotel, coffee facilities could have been better, they were very basic, whereas other European 5 star hotels usually have a Nespresso machine or similar. Staff very friendly and accommodating of all hours of day and night!
