Fairmont Tokyo

This time I stayed at the Fairmont in Tokyo, and the tower view was beautiful 🗼! On the first day, it was cloudy, and the view outside the window was misty, but on the second day, it was sunny and the view was gorgeous. It's convenient to catch a taxi downstairs, and the staff are enthusiastic and helpful. There's a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel, so you can easily grab a bite to eat at night 🍣🥢. Most of the hotel staff were non-Japanese, with very few Japanese staff, and the guests were mainly European, American, and Hong Kong tourists. The breakfast had limited options but the quality was good. They gave us a complimentary Serene dog keychain, which was very cute and a thoughtful touch. The overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The kids had a great time at the pool downstairs 🩵.

Had a wonderful five-day stay with my family at the Fairmont Tokyo. The hotel's facilities are all brand new and the rooms are very spacious. The pool and outdoor spa offer great views. However, since we were on a high floor with panoramic views of both Mount Fuji and Tokyo Tower, the pool view didn't feel as impressive. The service was very attentive; they noticed we went swimming every night and left three extra bath towels for us the next day. Every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile. There's a two-story collection of various restaurants and a supermarket downstairs, which was very convenient. We didn't find the location inconvenient as we took taxis everywhere. The only downside is that the hotel is very close to the monorail, so you can hear it in the mornings.

I booked a stay at the Fairmont Tokyo Minato from August 19th to 21st. It's a very new hotel with Chinese-speaking staff who were quick to help with any issues. The subway station is conveniently located – just turn right out of the hotel, then right again, and walk straight ahead. You can take the JR line directly to popular spots like Ginza and Akihabara. This time, I booked a room with a view of Tokyo Tower for myself and my child. We were very happy with it, although it was quite expensive – but I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, and the pool on the 35th floor is absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed the experience. I loved it here.

The 52 sqm tower view room was beautiful, and the sound system was excellent. The toiletries were also a brand I liked. It was a super nice night!

Every year I visit Tokyo for family and travel. After a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Doha in Qatar this past February, I decided to try the Fairmont Tokyo. The Fairmont Tokyo truly makes the hotel itself a destination, adding a rich new dimension to a city I'm already very familiar with. The experience was quite stunning. • **Location & Transportation:** It's about a five to six-minute walk south of Hamamatsucho Station. Hamamatsucho is also the terminal for the Haneda Airport Line, so whether you're going north to Ueno, west to Shinjuku, south to Yokohama, or traveling to and from the airport, everything is within a 30-minute commute. • **Service:** The hotel lobby is on the 35th floor, and breakfast and the spa are also on this level. The hotel staff are widely proficient in English, and they even prioritize using English with foreigners. This led to a funny moment where I was speaking Japanese to the front desk attendant, and he was speaking English, but we communicated without issue for a few sentences before realizing and then switching to Japanese. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, spa, and main entrance are all incredibly friendly. Even if your Japanese isn't fluent, they'll patiently listen and actively communicate, making for a very reassuring stay. On the last night, during turndown service, the staff gifted me a small Fairmont puppy, which I loved – a complete win over the Fairmont Doha. • **Dining:** Most of the hotel's restaurants and rooms offer views of Tokyo Bay and the city skyline, providing a perfect scenic experience for breakfast or in-room dining. The breakfast menu changes daily, which is good news because it never gets boring (and everything is delicious). The bad news is that the stir-fried vegetables I loved on the first day only reappeared for my breakfast on the fourth day, just before checkout. Sometimes after a tiring day, I'm too lazy to go out, and in-room dining provided the best risotto I've ever had, along with tempura udon, both incredibly impressive. What's more, the prices for in-room dining at the Fairmont Tokyo are more reasonable than at the Fairmont Doha, another win. • **Views:** For this last point, pictures speak for themselves. One evening, a local friend came to visit. As soon as she walked in and changed her shoes, she immediately ran to the window to take photos. From the bay-view window, you can see the flight paths of planes lining up to land at Haneda Airport. It's such a relaxing experience to sip tea and count planes when you have some free time. This four-night stay at the Fairmont Tokyo left a truly wonderful impression. Fairmont will definitely be a top choice for my future visits to Tokyo.

The facilities are new and the hygiene is excellent. The front desk offers Chinese service, and English communication is also available. The service is very professional. It's about a 5-minute walk from the subway station, accessed from the 2nd floor. There's a Lawson convenience store right outside the hotel, and a 7-Eleven through the underpass next to Lawson. The most impressive feature is the pool on the 35th floor. You can find dining options downstairs from the hotel, as shown in picture three.

The overall hotel experience was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were comprehensive. The staff were enthusiastic and had excellent service. The location was also very convenient. I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come again if I have the chance!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! The lobby on the 35th floor offers classic city views straight out of a Japanese drama, and the pool boasts a stunning view of Tokyo Tower. So, for the views alone, I'd give it a perfect 100 points! The cleanliness and service were also excellent. It's about a ten-minute walk from Daimon Station, but if you're taking a taxi, that's not an issue. To find restaurants, you'll need to walk a bit, but within about fifteen minutes, you'll reach the Daimon area with plenty of options. There's also a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is a big plus!
