If you’re visiting Xiamen and want a one-of-a-kind panoramic view of the city, Zhonggu Cableway is an absolute must-do. Far more than a simple tourist ride, this 40-minute round-trip cableway journey gave me the most stunning bird’s-eye perspective of Xiamen’s iconic mix of lush mountains, sparkling sea, and modern city skyline. It easily became my favorite highlight of my entire Xiamen trip. I visited in the late afternoon, and this timing turned out to be pure magic.
