It was a good stay there. Staff were kind and friendly. Room was spacious and comfy. Thanks Nice view too.

Nothing but a bad experience. The most we paid for a stay so far on our 3 week trip yet got the worst hospitality, service so far. Construction outside our door, annoyingly this app doesn't allow me to upload the video, but extremely load noises as from 9am. No reduction in price or warning about this construction before arriving or booking. We are meant to be provided just like any stay with transport to public transport but they were being extremely difficult each time they needed to provide us with transport. When things got difficult with the wife of the stay, she shouted in manderin at me like the more she shouted the more I'm meant to understand, of course I didn't understand ****. The room wasn't as clean as other places we stayed in, which were cheaper. The curtains were automatic but the one by the bath wasn't working so was extremely annoying. We wanted to cancel our 2nd night as our plans were not avaliable, but they didn't give us flexibility like other homestays did, however we were happy when we arranged with them to hike to Luke's a full day hike for them to pick us up after for free, offered by them. They then said their car wasn't available (which it was) and that we must pay 120y to get home (we thought taxi but they just arranged for their friend to take us back) who we had to wait for. Not to forget that 120y is 2-3x the price the journey would normally cost. The halfway house up the road is no better in service, please skip this stop off in tiger leaping, go to tea horse, tias, don't stop in this area.

Located 100m away from the popular halfway house. Service is excellent. We left our sunglasses in the room and only found out about it when we are done with the hike. Contacted the guesthouse and they went above and beyond to mail the sunglasses to Kunming, our last stop. Really appreciate Judy’s hospitality and exceptional service. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a night’s rest after hiking. The receptionist even helped us arrange to send our luggage to Tina Youth Hostel. The mountain view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! The restaurant stops taking orders around 8 PM, but even though we arrived a bit late, they still prepared dinner for us — such great hospitality. You can also buy bus tickets to Lijiang directly from the hotel, which was very convenient. The hotel is close to Halfway Guesthouse. Highly recommended, and we’d love to stay here again next time!

Great place to stay with a nice view of the mountains. Just spent the evening relaxing and watching the sunset on the patio. Food here was really delicious too!
