We stayed at this hotel in Halfway for our first night hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge during the off-season. The room's facilities are excellent and very well-designed. The high ceiling in our second-floor room gave us the feeling of staying in a luxurious cabin, which we absolutely loved. Since it was the off-season, there weren't many people, and it felt like a hidden paradise. We also had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant, and I personally thought the food was delicious.

The room was fantastic and spacious, quite clean too, with a great view. It's only about 100m from the Half Way Inn, and very quiet at night. If the weather is good, you can even see the stars. Overall, it's really excellent.

Very satisfied with our stay! We went just before Chinese New Year. The facilities were complete, and the mountain view room offered a great view. The guesthouse has its own restaurant, which made dining very convenient. If you're looking to enjoy the beautiful scenery, I highly recommend staying in the Mid-Mountain Inn area. For those driving up the mountain, you might want to assess your driving skills. If you're not confident, you can contact the owner, who can arrange for a professional driver service for a fee. There's also a car charter service available to take you to the hiking starting point for a fee. Hikers, please be careful! We hiked with our child and were quite cautious, but we completed the entire trail without any issues.

The location is easy to find, and right across the street is a snow-capped mountain, with a viewing platform for an even clearer sight. I stayed in a dorm room, and the bed seems to be the biggest I've ever slept in. However, there's only one power outlet. In winter, if it gets cold, you'll need to plug in an electric blanket, which means you can't charge your electronic devices. Other than that, everything's fine. There's also a desk in the room, and two power outlets on the wall. It's a bit hard to charge and use devices in bed at the same time, but charging itself is not an issue. The bathroom is quite spacious, but you have to wait a bit for hot water. All in all, it's definitely worth it.

Facilities: The bathtub was absolutely amazing! Soaking in it after a hike was incredibly comfortable, and it definitely lived up to why I booked this place. Plus, the whole room's smart voice control was genuinely convenient. Ambiance: Couldn't ask for more. The view was fantastic; I could enjoy the massive mountains right from the balcony. There's also a rooftop terrace you can go up to, and a unique little courtyard, which I really loved. Service: There's a two-car garage. I had a designated driver park the car there beforehand, and I picked up the keys at the front desk when I checked in. Cars that come later might block the ones inside, so the butler needs to help call the owner to move their car. The breakfast sandwich was good, and I really enjoyed the oat and banana porridge.
