Dameisha Beach is embraced by mountains on three sides and opens to the sea, with a golden beach stretching approx. 1.8 km between the mountains and the sea. It is one of the earlier developed and highly popular urban beaches in Shenzhen. The sand here is fine and soft, and the coastline is shaded by coconut groves and subtropical greenery. Walking barefoot on the sand, listening to the waves, and sunbathing—it is easy to spend half a day here.
The eastern section of the beach features seven colorful "Wish Angel" sculptures, approx. 18 m high. They are human-shaped with wings, in various poses, and painted in red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple. They are a highly recognizable landmark on this beach, and the nearby Dameisha Wish Tower is also a perennial favorite in tourists' photos. There are many ways to enjoy the beach: in summer, you can swim in the sea, and activities like jet skiing and ATVs are suitable for those who like excitement. If you don't want to go into the water, you can take a walk along the coastal boardwalk to enjoy the breeze, or wait for the sunset to paint the sea in warm gold in the evening, which is equally relaxing.
