Five-star review for Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort World! I especially want to commend our butler, Coral. Before our trip, I had a lot of little questions, from check-in details to dining options nearby, and she answered every single one quickly and clearly. It was like having a walking encyclopedia! Seeing that we had kids, she thoughtfully sent up a seasonal fruit platter, which was wonderfully sweet and refreshing. Throughout our stay, whenever we had a request, whether it was for two extra bottles of water or inquiring about pool hours, she'd respond and resolve it within minutes. She truly delivered on every request. We booked a garden-view room for two nights, and the window overlooked lush tropical greenery – so peaceful and beautiful. The hotel's best asset is its location. Just through the garden, you're on the beach. It only takes two or three minutes to walk there with the kids to dig in the sand and play in the waves, making early morning and evening beach trips super convenient. The family activities were incredibly diverse, from bubble parties to DIY crafts, with multiple different events each day. Our kids never wanted to leave! Overall, the service is thoughtful, the location is excellent, and it's very family-friendly. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Sanya.

Waiting for check-in, waiting for a room, waiting for arrangements – everything was just waiting. The lobby was chaotic, and everyone seemed on the verge of exploding from waiting, with no staff to calm them down. It's an old hotel; the rooms aren't very smart, and the facilities are quite dated. Besides the butler, no one bothered to greet us or proactively offer help. Even when you approached them, they were busy with their own things and ignored you. Especially one person who seemed to be a front desk manager. When I went to get my room card swiped, he just looked at his phone for ten minutes before finally asking what I needed. Speechless. It's no wonder the rest of the staff acted the same way. I was planning to extend my stay, but I was definitely put off.

Extremely satisfied with our five-day, four-night stay! Before coming, I saw a lot of negative reviews on social media (Xiaohongshu), so my expectations were quite low. However, once we arrived, it was fantastic. The service, cleanliness, and environment were all excellent. My mom absolutely loved the complimentary photoshoot, and we even added extra photos. The only downside was the photography process itself; the photographer seemed very rushed and impatient. The breakfast had a great variety, and the fruit was incredibly fresh.

Our family trip to Sanya led us to choose the Yalong Bay Mangrove Resort for the last two days. The room rate offered great value for money, and the location was super convenient with a commercial street nearby and plenty of options for food delivery. The rooms were meticulously cleaned, and the staff provided attentive service. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, making both dining and staying very convenient. Yalong Bay is a quiet and peaceful environment, perfect for a family to relax and unwind, and it offers great value for money. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Sanya.

This time we were able to swim in the sea, and the kids had a blast. The 'Swallow's Nest' is still there, and I hope to see it again next time. We even received a souvenir necklace when we checked out.

The air conditioning vents in the room were well-placed and didn't disturb our rest. The hotel has a private beach, making it convenient for swimming. Coral provided excellent service, even arranging a special fruit platter for us.

I've been coming here every year for the past few years, and each time, I contact Bella, the concierge, to arrange my room in advance. I really appreciate Bella's excellent service. As a swimming enthusiast, Mangrove Tree has always been my top choice. You can swim in the shade all day, and the large lawn and prime Yalong Bay location speak for themselves.
