Show More ReviewsManting Royal Garden isn't very large; two hours is enough to leisurely stroll through, but it's rich in history. As early as the Song and Yuan dynasties, it was the exclusive royal garden of the Dai kings. The various Dai-style pavilions and palaces within the garden have a retro charm, exuding a strong ethnic atmosphere. The ticket provides direct access to the General Buddhist Temple next to the South Gate, without additional cost, making it very convenient to visit both. Ladies are advised to bring long sleeves and pants, as tank tops and short skirts will be stopped. Stepping into the General Buddhist Temple instantly evokes a sense of solemnity and tranquility, allowing you to truly feel the profound atmosphere of Theravada Buddhism. One trip allows you to experience both a royal garden and a traditional Dai-style temple!
