Zermatt has these electric vehicles that transport guests to hotels further from the station, so some places might offer shuttle services. However, if you don't want the hassle of booking one, this hotel is a perfectly good option. My only minor complaints were the awkward placement of the power outlets and the lack of one by the bed.

Fuss free, convenient, decent continental breakfast w boiled eggs, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruit. Is right on high street so not for light sleepers.

Front staffs are helpful, good location of the hotel though need to check in over at hotel Simi which is just a short walk from hotel Continental.

Simple hotel right in the heart of town. Old world decor but modern breakfast hall. Clean rooms and excellent bathroom (the shower was super powerful and the bath vast). Convenient for centre of town and 4 mins walk to station.

The room was clean and the location was close to the station and the Coop. The place was also quiet and peaceful. We were satisfied staying here.

From the room can see the top of Matterhorn. Located at the Main Street. Breakfast is simple. Overall stay is satisfy.

The first impression was poor customer service, there were no front desk staff nor anyone to receive or direct customers on arrival, only a small notice to inform customers to check-in in another hotel. The room facilities and furnishings were rather old, the beds were more like extra bed’s bed frame and mattresses were barely 4 inches thick, can’t provide the support needed. As Zermatt is an international tourist destination, there is no English channels on the TV programmes. Breakfast provided was very simple, mainly bread, some bakery n cereals. Would not recommend anyone to stay. Only plus point is location nearby train station n town centre.
