Mad Monkey Manila

Love MM Manila especially now that they have fixed the doors and the outlets and the lights. The restrooms are clean and the people are wonderful. I spent two free nights here because I am Maddest Monkey member and one of the perks include two free nights on my birthday. There is a sky skybar at the topmost floor. But I like the café better. There's a spot I like where I position at the corner and I just write there for six hours. Love the butterscotch brownie paired with iced americano. This one is located in Poblacion Makati so you're within walking distance from many dining options and entertainment place. There's an Uncle John at the corner and Rockwell Power Plant Mall is pretty close. I always stay here every time I am in Manila it is practically home. Angelica has always been my favorite at the front desk. Alianna is going up the list as well. Repeat showout to your housekeeping and cleaning staff. So efficient in their job!

The staff is really nice, helpful, and friendly. They try the best to interact with all the people as my observation and try to remember our name as well. The location is good for me as it is under visitors gather point and walk out u can see many visitors as u also easy to find a foods especially to who not really cannot accept local road foods. They also offer free walking tours around the area and explain to u. Opps not to forget the free welcoming drinks. Probably, if they can indicate the name of drinks, it will be much helpful as I do not know, and too hard for me to remember when staff told me during place order. The room i booked is dorm for 4. They do offer me a free lock to lock the locker rather than I need to buy the new one. Highly appreciated. But I found the locker is dirty with maybe detergent , i am not sure, but my bag all has been full with the unknown dirty and I need to use my own one time deal tower to clean it . Really sad. Probably, future staff need to check the locker condition besides the bed. Overall, if u are looking for party night and knowing more new friends, it is good options, but if you prefer a quiet environment, u may need to reconsider.

It's good but I'm disappointed to what happened to me, my stuff I don't who put in to the trash, I was very tired from long trip when I came back I saw my stuff in the trash😣

Mad monkey has become may go-to place to stay if I need to sto by in Makati for some catching up with friends.

Mad Monkeys rarely disappoint & here's no exception, in the heart of Makatis Party district Poblacion, you'll find everything you need to have a blast. It's a very social space with a rooftop skybar/terrace & restaurant & ground floor cafe with outside patio. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm (305) which I have to admit is very cramped, the toilet doesn't flush well & the shower head holder is damaged. Also the mattresses still have the plastic covers on so they squeak like crazy, this could be resolved by placing plywood on the top bunks which would make a sound barrier. Other than that, great hostel, great staff, great service & you get a welcome drink when you check in. JOIN THE MADNESS 🤣

Stayed there for a month. Loved it

Very friendly and welcoming. But very small and doesn’t have as many amenities as other Mad Monkeys.
