Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG

Last time I brought my parents to Suzhou, we also stayed at the Crowne Plaza Suzhou Jinji Lake, and both they and I really liked it, haha 😁. This time, coming to Suzhou for Chinese New Year, we just had to stay here again! The service is so warm and excellent, and the breakfast is incredibly rich and varied. We even had the pool all to ourselves by chance, lol. We'll definitely be back!

First time visiting Suzhou and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. The location is excellent, right by Jinji Lake and directly facing the Gate of the Orient – a landmark that's easy to spot. If you want to see modern Suzhou, the lake is right outside, with the Gate of the Orient and Moonlight Dock nearby. If you prefer to experience the charm of old Suzhou, the ancient city is just a 20-minute taxi ride away. In the evenings, you can even stroll along the lake and enjoy the night views. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I slept very well. Overall, I'm very satisfied! (P.S. Crabs and starfish are a common online meme in China, equivalent to saying 'A++++' or 'highly recommend').

Arriving in Suzhou, we first explored Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road. We tried to check in just before 4 PM, but the front desk told us our booked room wasn't ready yet. We were already exhausted and quite frustrated. However, the young lady at the front desk was lovely; she sensed our displeasure and immediately asked her supervisor to upgrade us to a suite on the eighth floor. It had two balconies, a beautiful lake view, and we could even watch the evening musical fountain. The lakeside boardwalk led directly to Hubei Xintiandi, and 'The Big Underpants' (Gate of the Orient) was a short walk in the other direction. A big thank you to Carrie for her kindness too! I'm so sorry, I forgot the name of the kind young lady who helped us check in, but it sounded like a celebrity's name. My wife and I have already decided that we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This InterContinental-owned Crowne Plaza hotel, located in a prime spot by Jinji Lake, truly lives up to its reputation for consistent quality. Everything from the facilities and services to the family-friendly amenities is top-notch. The hotel itself is shaped like a cruise ship, giving it a unique nautical theme. We took our child to the hotel's beautifully warm and almost magical heated pool (which also has a dry sauna), and they absolutely loved the fantastic kids' play area (free for guests). It has everything a child could dream of: games, a ball pit, a large slide, a picture book corner, an art area, and even two arcade machines – truly a paradise for little ones. We booked a standard king room, which came with a bathtub and bath salts, a Dyson hairdryer, and comfortable bathrobes. And I have to give a huge thumbs-up to the breakfast! The variety was incredible and so abundant. The Suzhou-style noodles with various toppings were delicious, and the handmade burgers and honeycomb honey were surprisingly good. The dessert section was like a full buffet with all sorts of freshly baked bread and pastries. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's only a 10-minute taxi ride from Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station and about 20 minutes to Suzhou Station. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next business trip or vacation to Suzhou. They even had crabs and strawberries!

This stay was fantastic, definitely worth a good review. The hotel boasts a beautiful setting right by Jinji Lake, offering lovely views. The service was excellent; the staff were all very warm and attentive, which made me feel truly welcome. The room was spacious and bright, very comfortable to stay in, and impeccably clean. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Suzhou Center, making shopping, dining, and entertainment easily accessible. It's also close to the subway station. After a few days here, I feel completely relaxed and refreshed. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Suzhou. - Scallop Dolphin

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by Jinji Lake with first-class views – perfect for an evening stroll to enjoy the night scenery. The room was spacious and bright, tastefully decorated, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. The service was impeccable; everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was incredibly rich, with both Western and Chinese options, and tasted delicious. The hotel facilities are also excellent, with a good-sized gym and swimming pool, making it perfectly suitable for families with children. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Suzhou. - Dolphin Watermelon.
