A must-visit place when traveling in Taichung The National Taichung Opera House was designed by Japanese contemporary architect Toyo Ito based on the most primitive concept of human caves. It has a large theater, a medium theater, and a small experimental theater, as well as many cultural and creative shops and dining areas. No tickets are required and you can visit it at will. When we went there, it was the second day of the Chinese New Year, and there was a wonderful piano concert. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to watch it.
