Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa

This tosei is 1km away from asakusa train station compared to the other one at Kuramae. When we arrived early like 1030am, receptionist lady was courteous and accommodating, allowed to store luggage at lobby. Since check in was 3pm, proceeded to walk around. It is 5 mins walk to Senso-ji. So if you want to explore early morning, very doable with less crowd. Room is smaller than the one I stayed in Kamakura for the almost price point but it is Tokyo. Paid about 23.8k yen for 2 nights, no bfast in early June 26. This did not have onsen facility but they gave you bath salt to dip in your bath tub in room. Washing machine is paid type. Before heading out, you can use their coffee machine for free. Grab a coffee before heading out. I was out walking tokyo from morning to night. So it was really a place to sleep. As room can be abit tight if you like to chill in the room. They also allowed to store luggage after checking out if your flight is later in the day.

The location is excellent — only a 5-minute walk to the station, with large shopping malls nearby and plenty of restaurants around. The room is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. After a long day out, coming back to such a comfortable hotel feels so relaxing. The only downside is that there are no curtains, so once the sun comes up, the room gets really bright and it’s hard to continue sleeping.

Good location. We pay a visit to Asakusa Temple at night, beautiful. There is beverage machine at lobby, tried black coffee and latte, surprisingly good. Clean and comfortable room.

the stay was great! friendliest and nicest staffs, hotel was in a quieter area for sure! it is a 7min walk from asakusa ginza line. there are many eateries, 7-11, bread shop and coffee shops along the way to hotel from the ginza line. the sensoji temple is SUPER near to the hotel too! the room was okay for two people with huge luggage. will definitely stay here if im coming to tokyo next time! just hoped that there were more amenities like the gym or breakfast area! the currently amenities are good enough too!
