Royal Court Apartments

I'm on a month-long backpacking trip in Europe, starting in Prague and visiting 16 cities across 11 countries. This was the first accommodation for my family. There's a very small elevator, just enough for 4 of us to squeeze in with our bags, one by one. The size and layout seem better than other hotels in a similar price range. There's a kitchen, and while there was an air conditioner, it was quite weak. Even though it was late July, Eastern Europe was chilly in the mornings and evenings, so my youngest had to buy long-sleeved shirts and pants. There's a tram station nearby, making it easy to get to tourist attractions. The self check-in was convenient, and getting the key card was smooth. I also used Trip.com's airport pickup, which made finding the place easy. It was quite cold when we went out to see the Old Town and Charles Bridge at night.

The '#' was missing from the access code, so I couldn't open the door right away. My reservation number was incorrect, and I couldn't check in. It took an hour of inquiry before I could finally complete the check-in process. The language barrier made communication via the intercom difficult. The room was spacious and satisfactory. The shower holder was broken. It was a shame that there was no stopper for the bathtub, so I couldn't take a bath. The breakfast was excellent and very satisfying.

This was the biggest accommodation I've ever stayed in. My parents and I stayed together, and they much preferred this Airbnb-style place over a hotel. There's a supermarket right in front, and while you have to take the tram to get to the city center, the location isn't bad. It's close to the station. Since there's no traffic allowed inside the Old Town anyway, you can get to the entrance of the Old Town by tram. I highly recommend it for family trips!

The hotel is super convenient, just a three or four-minute walk from the metro station exit. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, even late at night. You do have to self-check-in, though. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the one-bedroom apartment was really spacious with cooking facilities available. The cafe downstairs is also delicious.
