The Whitney Hotel Boston

Very neat and tidy room. The bed is very comfortable. There is no boiling pot but available upon request. Would appreciate if tea bags are provided. Complimentary fruits and snacks are provided, very generous.

I only had 1 night and I wish it had been more. Situated in a lovely part of Boston right across from the river. The room was large with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and they had a nice bar area in lobby too. The staff were nice and friendly too.

If you will need a room with two beds, i don’t recommend this hotel because I was told that all two-bed rooms are on the side of the building facing the train station and the heavy traffics interception with a large hospital. The two nights we stayed we experienced lots of voices from the train going by, sirens on and off, traffic noise, dog barking on the same floor at night. The room was a not a bit sound proved. Hallway door shut noise was loud, too. I had to sleep with earplugs but still heard these noises throughout the night. For $640 per night, this is a very poor experience. I specifically asked for a quiet room at check-in but was told all two-bed rooms are on the noise side. The staff was not a bit helpful.

The Whitney hotel was lovely, they provided everything I needed including room service you could easily order from your tv. If you wanted to eat in the dining room they had a nice breakfast where I had whipped mascarpone cheese with smoked salmon. Great location in Beacon Hill.

Beautiful, clean room, maintained daily. Excellent amenities, high quality products within rooms. Staff were courteous & helpful. Bar was welcoming & stocked quality wines. Overall lovely stay. Hotel location was also excellent in a beautiful area of the city.

Had a family birthday weekend in Boston and choosing the Whitney Hotel as our home base was a great choice. The entire staff was vey accommodating. Jacquelyn was so nice during our check in process and Rob’s assistance upon arrival was much appreciated. Special thank you as well to Frank at the restaurant bar right off of the lobby.

The hotel is so cute. The room is very comfortable and the bed is great. The hotel and room were immaculate. Why three stars? The first night we had noise from The room above us and the ambulances coming and going from the hospital. We asked to be moved the next night and the hotel kindly changed our room. We had a very quiet room in the courtyard. However the hotel has very little soundproofing in the floors and I could hear noise from upstairs at all hours of the night. So if you are a deep sleeper, this is a fantastic hotel - Beautiful and thoughtful in a great walkable neighborhood. But if you are a light sleeper - maybe skip it or request a courtyard facing room and pray for no upstairs neighbors.

Entire staff was very professional. Room was clean. The entire experience, including Valentine's dinner at the Peregrin was exceptional. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Boston.
